We went 6 years ago when our son was sworn in - we (and they) stayed at the San Diego Marriott - Mission Valley. 8757 Rio San Diego Dr. Not sure if this is where they still stay or not. We spent the night and took him out to dinner at Bully's East for a nice steak dinner. Then we went to MEPS in the morning and followed them to the airport and were able to say goodbye again. Hope this helps!
Good Morning Karin- were you able to make it to the hotel yesterday?
Good morning! Yes, Thank goodness. We were able to visit for 2 hours and take him out to eat so that made me so happy!
He's on the plane right now on the way to boot camp
I'm so glad it worked out - now be sure to keep your phone on you and expect the "I'm here" call later tonight. It will be a quick call!
