Hi everyone!
I had a question regarding the use of sandboxx to mail their sons, spouse, etc...
Has anyone used it? Did you prefer sandboxx over regular mail? I have been debating on whether or not I should do both or stick to one.

I use both.  Sandboxx does get mail there faster for us (it can take up to 7 days by USPS).  Sandboxx delivers it next day.  You can only attach one picture to your sandboxx letter and there is a character limit. I think it is over 2000 - quite a bit. And it is expensive.  I use it if there is info/encouragement I want to get to my SR quickly.  Also, Sandboxx doesn't have your handwriting.  Kind of comes down to what your preference is.

I also use both. I love the fact of it being there the next day. It is a little bit expensive, (4 dollars a letter, if you don't purchase bundle)  but for me very worth it.

Hey! So I use the sandboxx app now, but at first I was writing him letters everyday. I liked the idea of sending him hand written letters at first I guess cause it felt more personable. But I think it was taking forever for him to get them or something because I think he thought maybe I just wasn’t writing him So I started using this app and I LOVE it. It is pricey...$4 a letter or you can buy them in bundles for a little cheaper. It’s so quick and easy to use, it’s like typing a long text almost. And you can stop and go right back to it to finish your letter if you have something you’re doing vs actually sitting down and taking time out of your day to write a letter and then have to mail it. And the best part about it is if you send it before 5pm, it gets mailed to him the very next day! So worth it!!!

My SR is in her final 2 weeks. We have used Sandboxx a lot. The work around with the 1 picture is to use a collage app. We send 6 pictures in each collage.

My son just started BC on 8/6/18 so thinking I need to start writing some encouraging letters before we get the Form Letter.  I love the idea of this Sandboxx app.  You mentioned using a collage app.  Is there a certain one that you use you could recommend?  I am sure my son would love to see pictures of his sweet little nieces.  They always put a smile on his face.  So is it an actual letter and photo that they receive with the SB app?  Thanks!

After using snail mail a few times, I just started using SB yesterday after reading about it here. I really like it! Thanks for the info.

I literally have it used it everyday since I got his address. My SR did say the picture quality was good and he was able to read it clearly under the red lights- which is important since my SR has mail call 5 minutes before taps. For me personally it has been worth every cent, especially since I have only had the privilege of one phone call and he graduates next week!!

I also used the site to book my air in case of PIR change, as southwest does not have good flights out of my home airport. Their prices were inline with all the other sites. ( I used to be in the travel business so very familiar with booking air and policies.)

I use both. Mainly snail mail.  SB app does get to him sooner so maybe that last week I will use it to get that last minute encouragement.

I plan to use it and snail mail as soon as I get his form letter. Eagerly awaiting that. Got his box today.

If you are writing to your recruit everyday, sending love and encouragement everyday, and including pictures copied to your letters, your recruit should be getting mail everyday, sandboxx or not.

I was worried that my daughter wasn't receiving my daily letters. But in her most recent letter she says she is getting my letters daily-just not on the weekends. She is so happy and excited for them.
