For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son called too! It was so good to hear from him. He had a cough but said that everyone in his division did too. I hope your son's wrist feels better!

Got a call from my son he said that they got beat real bad one day and they realized his wrist was swollen and he was sent to medical now he is being held back. I feel bad for him because that’s what he was trying to avoid and now we have no clue when he will be returned to full duty and when he will graduate. I am so proud of him all he said is mom I know I can do it I don’t want to be held back. It just makes me feel so bad because I can’t help him make it better. Well I guess that a part of us growing up and letting go. All I could do is encourage him and pray he will still want to keep going. Can’t wait to hear from him again so that I can ask how he’s doing and learn when graduation is . Bright side is they just put him on restriction and didn’t send him home. Continuing to pray for healing. I know my SR is STRONG and can overcome anything he puts his mind too.
