My son arrived the same day, the letter should be coming soon. Don’t worry to much. I know this is very overwhelming but this is my second son going to RTC and it’s still hard, but just know you will hear something soon!

I am constantly worrying. I dislike the unknown. I pray he is ok.... I keep hearing no news is good news but as a mom that’s not enough!!

Yes I know we are going to worrie until we get the first call. Just keep him in your prayers he will be ok. We just have to remember how proud we are of them to be making this journey, and how worth it will be in the end!

i just received letter from my nephew and he said that he’s failing his physical? what’s going to happen?

Liza this will explain the process, he has a chance.

See Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and Fitness Improvement Training (FIT).

My son called yesterday to say he failed by 20 seconds & will have a 2nd chance today. I'm still waiting to hear if he passed or failed again (it's 8.13pm eastern time). This has been the most amazing, yet frustrating time of my life... He failed the run in the beginning; 1st delay. Then he injured himself; 2nd delay. Now this... I cried myself to sleep last night thinking how much he wants this. He bypassed college because he felt this was best for him.... I don't know when I can expect the next call... tonight, tomorrow, next week. Everything is on hold & I dont know what to tell my job.... sorry, I'm probably ranting now lol thanks for allowing me to get this off my chest...
Our situation is unfortunate. Our son left college, his job and our home in Sept 2018 to live with a girlfriend. Our son’s girlfriend and her family gave him only one option to join the military by 10/31/18. He left for boot camp on 11/8 and we only found that out after trying to file a missing person report because this girl has cut him off from his entire family, friends, social media of any kind, etc. He did not write to us while at boot camp and we only briefly spoke with him when we called Navy 311. We are a very close family and this has just devestated us as parents, his siblings, grandparents, extended family and friends. I watched on livestream as my son graduated from boot camp yesterday. He said he is off to San Antonio but we can’t be sure that is the truth. How can we find out if he actually reports to San Antonio?
