Ship 13, and div 209! Received my hand written letter today! He is holding up and passed PRT and swim quals!
Mine is also Ship 13, div 211. Says he's doing well. I have a question about the security list for PIR - it says not to request access for someone on probation. My recruit's older brother is on probation for a driving offense, not criminal, but does have to meet with a PO monthly. They are only looking at criminal offenses, correct?
catsknit - your older son will be fine attending PIR. It's not an issue at all for him. Put him on the list.
Hello All, my son shipped out on 3/28 and we have not gotten the form letter yet however I just found out from the recruiter that my son is in Ship 13 Div 211 with a PIR date of 3/24. I thought he would be a PIR of 3/31 due to when he shipped out but it is a week earlier so glad to hear. Just wished now that I would get a letter (form or hand written) from him to confirm the address and PIR. This site has been a blessing. I am previous US Navy and have been out for 23 years so things have changed greatly since I got out. Am happy to have some other mothers who are going thru the same thing.
jes12joy - I know you meant May not March! Here's the link to the 5/24/19 PIR:
Yes you are absolutely correct, I meant May 24th not March... Wow need to get my eyes and fingers checked. I signed up to be part of the PIR 5/24 group so just waiting on acceptance. This place is such wonderful information even for people like me who should know what is happening, I have since learned that it is very different when it is your young adult going thru it and we get to sit on the side lines waiting.
