Hi Helen
Boot camp is hard on everyone. It will be a relief to have it over. I'm here is you ever need someone to talk to.
Hannah
Hi Hannah , Very well put , I can't wait until bootcamp is over , But its a website like this that will make it just abit easier. I'm so glad I found you all.
Hi Melissa
Welcome to the group
Hi Lisa
I think this website is a great idea. It is hard to have your son or daughter at boot camp and no one to ask questions. This is a great idea.
Hannah
Hi Linda,
I haven't heard anything about the bonus's so it will remain to be seen I guess. Your boy is 6'4? wow! my son Cameron said there is only 1 hour PT a day? Hmmmm... he thought it would be more. He said too much of folding clothes. he graduate's on the 18th so I can't wait.
We are flying I did find some good fares and we are staying at the Navy lodge. On the navy website it said to take a limo its only 25-30 dollars, I guess taxis are sky high.
I'm having a hard time finding reasonable airfares , when I called the number in the brochure they said that is was about 489.00 per person from Boston, We may very well end up driving there , it is about 15 hrs but it maybe actually cheaper.
try priceline.com thats where I got ours.
thanks I will
southwest is good to
Try doing priceline, I have found if I go on there I normally get good prices. I have been flying my daughter from Norfolk to Detroit frequently and I normally get round trip for about 200, I have even gotten tickets from Detroit to Phoenix on a regular basis for about 200 round trip. You normally have to be a few weeks 3 or 4 to get better prices. You can also negotiate a price on price line, that will let you fly cheeper than there price they tell you. For ex. If I get a round trip flight for 200 I always negotiate down 50 or so. You can usually get it, but when you negotiate, you don't get to pick they flight they tell you what time you fly on the days you request so you have to have more time open. Take a look at this I just did a price line and got one for as low as 225 round trip. Thursday to Sunday maybe this would help
