Well, Spongie, I guess you are still ahead of me because I have not received my pattern yet. So I tell you what if you can't sew your's just pack them up and send them to me because I have been sewing even since my grandmother taught me as a very young child. I also love sewing. You can just keep me in mind.
I guess I should of did them one at a time! ughhhh I got 38 1/4 done and ran out of material! I hope these sailors dont mind pink hearts that say I love you on them! lordy lordy... i should of cut them out one at a time instead of all 1 patern piece, then move on to the other patern piece.. gee whiz....
Spongie....heehee have you ever done anything like this before?
I'm sure the girls will like the hearts
Nope... sure havn't! this is definitly a first... I will start sewing tommorrow!
Hey Spongie and Florence, that's actually a good way to do it. I love to sew, but have been so busy buying, washing, and ironing the fabric, that having someone else sew has been a real blessing.
Because of that, they are almost done. 55 was a bit daunting, unitl I put out my plea for help.

There is sponge bob fabric, but haven't seen it in Patriotic.
Hancocks has some beautiful patriotic fabric, but pricey. 2 single women bought me 8 yards between them. The last week of the month there is a coupon in the Hanny's flyer for 40% off 1 piece of fabric
How can I get a pattern??
MH
I too would love to have the pattern.... How do I get a copy???
Hello one and all I am new here so please bear with me. What is a freedom wrap and how can I get involved? I do sew and have time to spare. My son is new in the Navy currently at Great Lakes in A school and then onto Rhode Island in a few months for OCS. Tell me also about the pillow cases as I can make those in a jiffy even if I do it for the sailors at my son's A school. I could use some ideas to help keep moral up. I'd also be interested in sending items overseas, gift boxes, wraps (?) etc. I am interested also in the Adopt a sailor program. I guess the bottom line is I just need some information to get involved. Thank you so much. Jennifer
OK Mom's. I'm done with cutting.. i'm going to plug it in and do the deed today... breathe in breathe out..... ok i think I can, i think i can.....
let me know if you need help today I can make one and take pictures along the way or you can call me.
