OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Just posting this so it gets brought back to the top!! I want to be sure it gets lots of notice - so lots of MOMS get to go!!!
Just got home. Please let me know the details ASAP.
We will when we know them - you TEXAN wannabe!!!
Okay N4M Admin! Give it up! You've got our attention!! :-)))
I'm driving from Austin, but count me in! More details please!!
Brenda, any thing new about Paint the town blue? May is right around the corner!
Nope, I have not heard ANYTHING from them yet!!

HEY, ELLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to come! I'm in Fort Worth, too, Jean. Look me up!
Ok, so this is what we know so far...
We'll have lots of media attention in the Dal/FW metroplex area - kiosks downtown, victory park, sides of buses ... We're looking into doing something with the Rangers too, but that's still up in the air a bit.
There's also a Navy sponsored event called SEAL Fitness Challenge. ( It's a series of physical fitness events challenging athletes to maximize their performance in individual tests of strength and endurance. It closely mirrors the initial physical screening test given to anyone who desires to become a SEAL. The event consists of swimming, push ups, sit ups, pull-ups and running.) We're looking to find a way to get some of you involved in that event - it's scheduled for May 16.

Other things to come, but not yet approved by Navy.
