Hello Everyone! It is my privilege to choose our March Group! First, though, I must extend hearty anniversary wishes to Navy for Moms.com! Yesterday I consulted with my "posse" who write letters and add to the boxes every month. They are ages 2 through 11. We looked at maps and anysailor. We are going to Kuwait this mont

I know that I have big shoes to fill considering my excellent predecessors but I pray you will all join me in showering these brave sailors with some N4M love! Pat

I've been concerned about Juan too with the job they do over there. It must be stressful. Yep, they will share, cause they know everyone needs love and support.
Thanks for the encouraging words Staci. I am mailing a pillowcase to the injured sailor in Japan today.
The ladies in Jacksonville Fl will be having lunch and packing some boxes for the April group on Saturday.
I am so happy to read that our "State or Area Groups" are making get use of their get togethers! This is AWESOME!!!! WE here in Central Florida only do our get togethers every other month. But while at the get together I strongly encourage all to join this group and particpate on their own. Which I believe helps!! I just wish the Adopt a Sailor group was a large as the Boot Camp group...One day diane is what i say!!
Happy Packing ♥
Sue, that is a very sweet thing to do. That says you are loved. How beautiful!
I just got my son settled in Pensacola so maybe I can get some sewing done.
Yeah, ...we could analyze this forever....We cannot control how things are disturbed, all we can do is keep sending our love and show of support in those boxes and hope that it truly touches someones heart.

I have read some of the comments from previous Sailors about receiving boxes and taking what they want. I truly dont believe that the contact is doing this out of malice....I think it is human nature to some......and a bit of excitement!!!
Lets all continue to throw our support into this project and do it from our ♥
Where is the information for April soldiers? Am I missing it?
No Vickey, it is NOT up yet.....we have to wait..till April!!
Thanks!!!!
I picked up 16 pillowcases from 2 friends today! that's 50 finished on hand at the moment!
Peggy, I'm glad that you got your son settled! And if you get some sewing done, let me know. I just finished one, so now have 51 done.
Hey sue....You should of made one from each state..."should of" don't ya just love those words....LOL
You ladies are some of the Biggest-Hearted-Navy-Moms, that there is, and I must say it is an honor to share in this wonderful way to give a small repay-ance (?!!) to our sailors for what they do. I, for one, do not care who gets what or does what with the things I send. I do it out of love, and respect. Once I hand that box over to the post office, it is out of my hands! Both physically and literally! Even if one sailor "hords" it all, I feel then that God knew that sailor needed an extra dose of "motherly love" that day! I could not even BEGIN to think of all the stuff they must endure, on a Daily basis.
As for April, I am both excited and thrilled to see what challenges lay ahead! I will sure miss our March group (may have to just periodically send them a few things on the sly!). I just can't believe how quickly the month went already!
Staci, so touching! To think that we open up our hearts to these young men and women, they take that and Give, and Give, and Give right back! Your just so awesome!
