My son and daughter came home from the recruiters and told me about this site. The recuirters told them to "tell your mom about this site". They pushed me to get on it several times.. I finally did so in honor of them both leaving for Great Lakes basic training.
This site has been a God-send for me! Hope you get lots of information
I saw information about N4Ms on myspace.
I found out about this site via an advertisement on tv. I mentioned it to my son when he called the other day and he thought this was great! He deploys to Iraq on 8/16/09, his third trip. I'll be on here a lot I already know!!! Thank you.
Hi, This sight is wonderful. My son is being deloyed on September 27th. I sure will have your son in my prayers as well. Lesli
I got the information from my son's recruiter (yep, he's one of the "good" ones!) This site has really helped me many many times when I have been worried about either my son, or things going on in the Navy, or his sailor pals, etc. etc. Thank God for this site! Couldn't manage without it! (And my son is lovin' the USN!!! Goooo Sailors!)
I found you through a TV commercial that aired just before my son left for Boot Camp. It couldn't have come at a more appropraite time. Funny thing is that I never saw it again. I guess it was "meant to be."
hi Yes it is great how we do find out information at the appropiate time. Lesli
Our son has been in the Navy 13 years and we just found out about this site last summer. Joined the minute I saw it.
Last summer I found a mailing that my father-in-law received promoting it.
This was just before he was promoted to Chief last Fall. It was a great resource in trying to find out about the whole Chief process, as we all know how "easy" it is getting info from our sailors.
It is a great site and very addictive!
Hi Denise, 13 years is a long time. My son has been in for at least four years. This site is wonderful. Lesli
My son told me about it before he left. It took me a few weeks before I could bring myself to look at it. I'm so glad I did and wish I had the day he left!
My sons recruter told me about the site the day we went to talk to them about the navy...and they asked me the other day if I have been on the web site..(I took them home made turtels and carmels ) I told them yes and I am perfectly fine with my son joing the NAVY since this site has put me at ease...So thankful for this site...
