Hi Danielsmom-I know someone signed on today with a recruit in Daniel's division, they just didn't make it here. Hope you get to hear from others soon. But, that is why I like the all division discussion, we can still all share too. ;-)
My daughter is in ship 3 division 347 but she says the two divisions often do things together. Is your son tall? My daughter is tall and she is making friends among the males, perhaps your son is one?
He's 6 ", blonde, a cutie, I didn't think they could even speak with the girls. Daniel is very frustrated with his DIV messing around. He really wants this with the Navy.
Ah, kindred spirits then. Daughter says she has some males she knows she can trust now who help her kindly if she is doing something wrong. Daughter is also frustrated with those who don't shut up and do what they are supposed to be doing.
That is exactly what Daniel said, he was just "mom all they have to do is do what they are told and not screw up" but thats seems to be to much for some. Would be great if they were friends.
Hunter was disappointed in for some of the same reasons, I bet the two of them got together and helped to lead the other recruits to excellence. I bet when we get to graduation Hunter and Daniel will be standing tall! We sent a letter to hunter that this was a good leadership opportunity to encourage others. Military life is all about teamwork, so it is good to here that they are coming together as a team.
Hi ThanksMom;
My daughter's boyfriend is in 347 too. He's like a 2nd son to us. He is a stick and said the same thing that Danielsmom said." All they have to do is do what they are told and not screw up". Is your daughter a Grad-n-go too? What is her rate? Have you heard when they go to Battle Stations?
Daughter is grad and go but her A school is at Great Lakes. She will be an OS, which is exactly what she wanted. I think Battlestations is the 'final exam' isn't it? It does not sound like the division is working together well so I hope that final test isn't too soon.
Did you get a phone call on Saturday? Have you heard how their companies doing? I getting worried.
Our sons doesn't write very much about what is going on except for the talking and that some just don't get it that they can't talk. That was about 3 weeks ago though so don't know how it is going now.
Daniel had said that a fews weeks ago also but when I talked to him on Sat he said they had all improved adn actually had earned 2 flags. He also said he hoped to call again tonight. I hope so.
Yes, Hunter is in Ship 3 Div 346. We will be at graduation on October 9, 2009.
