Mary, thanks for adding this:-)
Mary, what is the FPO AP? I thought it would be the zip code where my son gets his mail, but it is different.
FPO, AP is part of the mailing address for the ship, It replaces the city and state. All mail goes to a military post office before being sent to the ship,

Is this the address I need to use when he is out on a 6 month deployment? Or should I already be using it? I have been sending things to his civilian address, I think.
I ididn't have and haven't been using the last 4 numbers when I mail packages. But they seem to get to the ship. When Bob was stationed in Norfolk you had to use the last 4 or it didn't get there.
I never use the last 4 numbers when mailing packages to the USS Nimitz which is deployed and my packages always get there.
Does anyone know the address for the USS Hawaii?
Anne, send a message thru the ombudsman registry to get the address.
