Molly had the GREAT idea to send some N4M love to some of our military that are "hurting".
I am going to say that July 12 is the "birthday" of this endeavor. July 13 it got named!!
"M.A.S. Special Hugs" - M.A.S. - for Molly's Adopt a Sailor!!!

From Molly: Hey Moms ---- we are having some wounded guys coming our way. Would you like to make a thread and those who would like to send a card or messages to our wounded ones.

If you know of someone in the military "hurting" and needing a "special hug" - PM me (Brenda Sue) the address and I'll post it in our "special place." I do ask that you keep us updated on the condition or change of address of anyone that has a lingering need.

OK - Mom's let's get this ball on the roll!!

I am going to keep these names in one place - so people don't have to read through hundreds of pages to find them. Go to MAS We Ship Love (Click Here) for the addresses. This is a private group - just ask to be a member and after you have been "checked out" - the powers that be accept you!

Please use the labels designed in the "Shipping Labels" discussion so they will be easily recognized!!

You can either print these on stickers or just tape them to the envelopes. If neither is possible, just write Molly's Adopt a Sailor on the envelope - so they know where they are coming from.

Pillow,
I will make sure to tell his mom so she can alert the staff and get the mail forwarded. I cant believe they moved him fast.
thanks Jenny. that is a fast move.
Oh my, he's at Fisher House??!! What an amazing young man who is obviously very strong - mentally and physically. Thank you for the update!
Update on Cory Gritter:

He will unfortunately not be returning home for Christmas as he had hoped. He will remain at Bethesda Medical Center, as there are more complications. This young Marine is just fighting one battle after another. He is very blue from the pain, low motivation and weak appetite. So now that we know he is not moving before Christmas let's send our love his way, and maybe some snacks for that appetite.
Im on it Jenny ---sending some snacks of Xmas . (no fruitcake) LOL
I HAVE NOT BEEN HERER IN WHILE--WHATS THE UPDATE W/ CHRIS TAYMAN ? DID HE GET RELEASED ? BACK IN HI ? HOWS ROSS ??
I know Ross is home with his folks and I think so is Chris.
I keep up with Ross on caring bridge
Susan any word on Chris ?
I guess they are considering a feeding tube for Cory. Poor guy can't keep anything down. The battle is still on going for this young Marine and his family.
Do I have his address correct above?
Hello All~
Ross is home with his family... he is doing well! His family is in the midst of remodeling the house to make it more accessible for him!

Chris also headed home... don't hear anything from him. :( Hoping that no news is good news!

Best part is there have not been any more admissions of young sailors to the spinal cord unit in the Seattle VA!
Now that is a blessing !!
Brenda sue, if u r asking about Cory's addy then yes, he will be staying at Bethesda and not going home for Christmas as hoped.
