We want to be sure each sailor receives a pillowcase! If one individual box has a pillowcase then we can count the individual boxes... We just want to make sure everyone aboard gets that Molly mom love! Will wait to hear a final word from you on how many boxes/pillowcases you ship... have you in the promised numbers for ten! We can always modify!
Oh my gosh, the pillowcases are so cute!
My Post Office told me I can not ship shampoo anymore. How are you doing it? Also, I just got a thank you from one of our church family members serving overseas. She said she loved her peanut butter, but also the toothpaste, as all they get is military toothpaste and it's just not the same. How neat to have a full page from her!
Why can't you mail shampoo anymore Carol? I rarely ship other stuff, but I am curious.
They said if anything is listed that could leak, it's not allowed. Plus, if they open boxes and see shampoo, it would be thrown out.
That's why I put them in a ziploc bag so if it opens it'll still be contained. Otherwise, technically, we can't send these power shots either. They also xray now, so no need to really open. How is it different from sending shaving gel or even toothpaste? Just have to pack it right and hope for the best. Son said they xray pkgs and if they find anything suspect then it goes into the other pile and is gone through. Have to check online for updates in sending stuff. :)
These are the sample sized ones so they are under the limit for liquids to be shipped overseas, etc. These are mostly samples of Pantene and some others. It's enough for maybe 1 - 3 uses, depending on how much you use each time. It's what they have in the hotels now for your use, since you can't take the stuff in your luggage any longer on airlines. Some of the soaps are really neat == sea kelp, jasmine, and citrus scents. I'm just sending the plain ones for the guys. Only thing is now I need to replenish my supplies. Thankfully it's tax time. :) Love those refunds -- don't you?
seashell whoohoo!!!!!♥
