My fiance is in class 14-10. I got to talk to him for about 5 minutes last night and he's already lost his voice! They have to yell everything at the top of their lungs! I'm in the Navy also and I'm so used to being the one who leaves! I'm the one who has to tell everyone else not to worry, so its really weird being on the other side of it!

Tawny you've given me hope! I'm out of town right now, so hopefully I will have a letter waiting for me when I get home tomorrow! I'm glad they are getting mail so soon. I didn't think they were allowed mail until after indoc.... Now that I think about it, your hubby is in 'D', so maybe D lucked out with their DI !!!!
We are slacking on posting here... To all mothers, fiancees, girlfriends, etc. join the Facebook group - there is more action there! It's called "OCS Class 14-10 Families and Friends"
Way to go on the advertising Linds, lol!!!!
has anyone gotten a letter yet? my LO said he wrote one Sunday night and that I should expect one soon...wonder if they are still holding their letters?
Tawny got a letter and I got an email, but that's it that I know of....
I am sorry guys, but how do u know the "letter" they are in? like "d" or "B" sorry i am very new to all these.... And i havent heard anything from my bf ever since th14th :(((
The Classes used to be about 50 people and lately have gone to 100 candidates broken into two companies. 14-10 was broken into Charlie and Delta. Your LO was assigned to one or the other. They will tell you which one so you can add it to the address on their mail
eg Class 14-10 C or 14-10 D.
Until you find out which class he is in just address the labels as 14-10. He will get it.
Ohhh ok, i havent written any yet .. feel kinda bad about it, but before he left he didnt give me an address, he just said to wait untill he writes me and then write back, but i feel like maybe i should write at least one already, since you guys helped me with the address..... i just hope he will get it if i do write him. Miss him so so so bad
