Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hi Hannah :), my boyfriend wasn't supposed to leave till June but was told at his DEP meeting tonight that a spot opened up for March - we'll know for sure by tomorrow, but we've been waiting since last June so we're both ready. Have you been to a lot of forums on the site? So many helpful discussions that break down what happens throughout each week of bootcamp and all the good details. I know im going to start writing the day he leaves an as soon as his address arrives I can start sending out letters, get in touch if you need anything! You won't be going through this alone!

Hey,
i knew from day one he was leaving in March but i guess reality just sat in and boy it is killing me. I went and bought a notebook and i have already started writing him letters..I am really new to this i have been looking around at alot of the forums..I really appreciate it i really dont have anyone going through this around me so i have felt alone and i am tryin to hide how hard i am takin him leaving so it doesnt stress him out...i have no idea on where to start or what do before he leaves and after. thank you so much !!!

Thank you very much. I have come to realize as the day gets closer that hiding this is killing me. I have gotten to where i cant sleep and i am miserable honestly.I bought a notebook and am going to start writing letters.Even if i dont sent them it will help me..I have decided to go back to school in hopes it will help me cope with him being gone i wont be sitting at home all the time...

it is getting so much harder the closer it gets to the time he leaves..When he does leave i am almost gonna double my hours at work and i am going to school and having my daughter i think i will have enough but who knows i may come up with a new hobby before its all over.I really appreciate all the help ...it means alot having someone to talk to who understands where i am.,
