Our son also went in on 3/24 with a SEAL contract. Do you know his division and ship yet?
Received the form letter today, my son is Ship 04, Div 812.....he said he had been up for 3 days, tired and sore from shots and bloodwork. PIR 5/21
my son is going to bc in early august also with a SEAL contract, i would greatly appreciate any info that you could share on the process. thank you trisha
My son is also doing SEAL contract. I got the box of stuff and the form letter, so I have just started sending letters to the address. My cousins two sons have been through Navy boot camp and has said this is normal not to hear from them. They keep them very busy and if they aren't working they are sleeping! All I worried about was how cold it is up there since we are from the south.
My James is leaving on the 12th of April. How are you doing? He was supposed to leave on the 2 nd of March, bt, that date was delayed. So I had a little more time and we are now really ready. Judi Jones
My son arrived at Great lakes today. Im waiting on that call that he arrived ok. Yesterday was so very hard for me I miss him so much already.
Thx, Maggie....as I was reading your reply He call from his cell phone, he did say as most of you have already mention , I wont hear from him for at least 3 weeks and expect the box in 2 weeks, he sounded to be be in great spirits. I'm so very proud of him! He also said they had been at Ohare airport for most of the day. At least I can stop crying for a min. I'm so glad I can get the support I need to get through this trying time. Yes I have started writing thxs for the heads up.

Thx Navy Mom Hugs
Thx so very much! I will do just that. And yes they are, they will make us all proud! Maybe I can rest tonight knowing he's ok now.

Hello Maggie you are the closest thing I can find to the division my son is now in he changed from ship 4 div 812 to ship 4 div 192 if you hear from someone in that div let them know about us.....Thanks Carrie
Hi Brand mom, my son is in ship 4 div 192. Just got my first letter today. It seems the division is a little behind due to slow medical processes. The letter was positive. I'm leaping for joy. He's been gone 2 weeks now.
finally! Someone from ship 4 div 192. My son left 3/24 and is also on ship 4 div 192. They're supposed to be graduating 5/21. We've made our reservations already. Got his first "real" letter last Wednesday. Sounded like he was doing pretty good, a positive letter. I was relieved to say the least. Have any of you gals started an actual group on this site yet? I don't know how.
Smokie: My daughter left Tuesday March 30th. We received the "scripted" call about 8:30pm that same night, but everyone seems to be different......waiting for the box and the address has been difficult....stay strong! When you get the call, please let us know......our thoughts are with your family too.
