Okay, so I started a discussion! I hope we can stay in contact and meet eachother. I don't know anybody up there so I think it would be nice to see ya'll while I'm there.

At least this is an "easy" week for them (minus the exam monday and tomorrow) lol Vallery, everyone was talking about that exam! I'm glad (your) Casey did so well. Matt got a 3.96 and he was sooooo proud of himself too :) He's aiming for that 4.0.

Anyway, I hope all is well with you ladies and hopefully we can get a group together for early September!

Haha yeah, at first I was like "wow, this will be a semi-easy week since they get out early on Friday and have a 3-day weekend!", but that was before Casey told me that they had TWO exams this week! I am amazed at how they keep up with it all...it's exhausting for me to watch!

CRAZY that he got a 3.96!!! I've heard that it can be really frustrating to get grades like that...especially since they're reaching for the 4.0, lol! Casey's told me a couple times that he would go all out trying to get a 4.0 like some of the guys that live in the BEQs, but that the sacrifices a few points to spend more time at home, haha. I'm not complaining! I don't know how those guys do it, I'd go nuts!!!
My husband graduates power school in september if it is the 3rd or not Im not sure. He is an ET and I am not sure if the graduation will be combined like A school was or seperate. This is making me sound like a slacking wife lol. Tyler also done really good on his test yesterday still on 'Vols' which is saying a lot cause the class as a whole did not do so well. Who all is going to the picnic Friday?
I'll be there! I'm glad they get kind of a "break" this weekend, although not too happy they have duty Sunday....grrr. lol!
I'm going to the manditory "fun" picnic:) I'm kinda glad they're making Joe (my husband) go becuse that means I dont have to cook! lol
Oh man, I hear ya!! I've lost so much cooking motivation this week, I have no idea why!!
i wish i could go! but i live in florida so matt's chief said he had to spend like an hour at the picnic and then he can drive down here and we (along with my parents) are going to our condo on the west coast of florida. can't wait :)

yah, matt said even with the exams, it's a pretty easy week because they have a lot of study halls. i wish i was up there and i bet he would be sacrificing some of those points for time with me! haha. he said he wasn't aiming for the 4.0 but every exam he's had in power school he's been sooooooo close that now he's getting frustrated lol i guess it really doesn't matter how they do in power school (per se), it doesnt get them anything! lol prototype is where he needs to do his best so we can go somewhere where we actually want to go! hopefully anyway.
Yep, I've heard the same thing - and you know what they say, 2.5, stay alive! Them passing is what matters now! :)

I am SO glad they got so many study halls today especially...my hubby's napping right now, has watch from 7:30 to 10:00, so he's just gonna study then.

Hope you have fun over the weekend!!
Vallery, let me know how Casey did today! Matt said it was pretty difficult :-/ so excited that they are off early tomorrow!!
Will do! Casey never had math beyond like Algebra 1 before this school, so the really math-intensive stuff like today's test was never his strong suit. He's optimistic that he passed, at least, though! lol. But I guess they weren't done grading the tests by the time he left to come home for dinner today, so he's finding out tonight while he's on watch. Ugh, I hate when he has watch. :(
I know girl. Yah, Matt didn't do as well as he'd hoped. He said it was extremely difficult because there was a lot to mess up on (it was like 400 points or something like that!) I can't remember his exact score, but I'll let you know. He has an engineering degree so his math is pretty good, but it can still be difficult - all the "new" stuff. I'm sure they know eachother. How weird! lol I love this site!

I wish I could meet you at the picnic today but oh well. I'll be up next weekend job searching and going to the Zac Brown Band concert - canttttttt wait :)
Aw, I know!! I guess EVERYONE from this class will be there....aren't there like 300-ish people in the class or something?!? Crazy!

I guess Casey got a 3.30 on the test, which I was SO proud of considering his background, lol! I think he got a 2.9 on the first one...lol. He was like WHOOOOOAAAA....need to put more time into this class!! I did hear about how huge this test was - I think that's crazy!! Which section is Matt in, BTW? Is he EM, ET, MM? Casey's an EM in section 2.
Yah, the class is so big! Have fun there though - let me know how it is and what I missed lol

Matt got a 3.75 on it and he's not really happy, he thinks he should have done better. He's somewhat of a perfectionist, I'm proud of him though. He just called me and is on his way down to Florida now :-) I'm sooooo happy. I can't wait for this weekend to start. Matt is a MM and he's in section 8 or 9, I can't remember - one of those lol
