OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm looking at the 3rd Sat. in July at this time. How does that sound to you? Otherwise, I'm into August.
Sounds Ok as far as I know now. Thanks Carol
Carol - I'm contemplating going to Chicago on the 17th (the 3rd Sat. in July) - but that is only tentative as of right now - if that doesn't happen, I will make my way down for this M&G. When the final date/locale is set, shoot me a regular email so I can be sure to make this.
I am in Fairfield. We are pretty close. Anytime works for me.
OK--holiday is over! Let me know if the Jefferson Co. area wants to meet on Thursday July 22nd about 5 pm or Saturday, July 24th about 11:30 am! I need to make up the signs. It will be at Ryans in Mt. Vernon!
Thursday would be a little better for me but I can do Saturday also. I would just be a little late.
At the Meet and Greet, bring supplies to pack for our overseas troops.
For a list of suggestions, go to http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject
It would be great if you could join the group if you have not already. If we all bring a small amount of supplies, you will be amazed at how quickly a box can fill up! (btw, Jolly Rancers seem to melt and just stick to the wrappers, so not a good choice of hard candies in the heat.)
Let me know your questions!
I agree I saw it online and it made me very Proud. Thanks Carol!!
I just got back from Pampered Chef conference in Chicago and haven't seen a paper in close to a week. Becky or Stacie, if you still have the story, please save it for me.
Carol, I looked it up online. I don't know how long they keep it up though.
Carol, Does the pampered Chef make Cherry Pitters. I have been looking for one.
