There will be 5 here unless moody teenagers stay back at hotel hehehe
hello there will be 6 of us :)
there will be 2 possibly 3 in my group if we make it in time. thank you
I would like to suggest from our experience that you make alternate plans for your PIR group M&G--now, before it's too late. The Ramada is in a seedy location. The so-called appetizers are awful. The room is dark and disgusting. The situation is confusing and the bar is inappropriate for families, children, elderly, etc. Inappropriate for anything but a hooker party. It's almost impossible to meet other moms from N4M under the circumstances there--the bar is filled with strangers who are staying at the Ramada, and they even tried repeatedly to steal our N4M pins and lanyards etc. Please read in the PIR 8-13 group for more input on our experiences at this location. The Ramada will hold a M&G at their hotel whether you go or not, but so could the 7-11 or the K-Mart, there is no reason to hold your PIR group M&G there just because the Ramada claims they are having a M&G, and in fact it is an awful choice. The Ramada M&G is NOT N4M-sponsored. Alternate possibilities are Anastasia's or Flanagans. Anastasia's will reserve a room for you and it's in a nice location. Save yourselves!
I RSVP'd a few weeks ago to a site that Sobe started for 9/10/10, but decided to double check with your request to make sure that we were counted ... and my response was not there. I'm wondering if there might be others who thought they too had responded. Here is the link if you want to cross reference:

Thanks Maureen for all that you do for our group! There will be 4 and perhaps 6 for us.
There will be 3 in our party. Counting down every moment of every day until I see my son! I am getting so excited. Thank God for wonderful people who referd me to this sight. What a life saver. Can't wait to Meet and Greet! My husband, my self and my 13 year old daughter will be attending. Is it ok for teens?
Hello Maureen,
There will be 3 of us for the M&G. Can't wait to meet you all. Thanks for everything Maureen.
Im not sure if I am showing up on here. Put me down for 2.
We will be flying in to the Chicago Midway and our plane doesn't arrive until 6:17 so by thetime we get on the road we will be too late for the meet and greet but I look forward to meeting all of you at the graduation. I actually got to talk to my son Austin this Saturday 08/21 for like 45 minutes. he says that if the division keeps doing as well as they have and passes their next testing that they could get honor division at graduation! That was exciting news! They have 5 flags so far. He also asked for me to try and reach out to the Haines brothers mom. If you see this please respond. He talks about your boys often. He mentioned some others but I am doing this at work and don't have my letter with those names. We have decided tostay in Gurnee Mills because we have heard how much stuff there is to do there. Is anyone else staying there? I am getting so excited to see him again. And I wish all of you a sfe trip!
Hi there, I just discovered this site. I have been "winging" it for a while now. I have recd. 3 letters and a phone call from my son. I can't hardly wait to see him. He said it's going great other than he had been SIQ for 3 days and light duty for 2 with a terrible cold. He said in his letter last week that this week was going to be a hard one. I would love to come to the meet and greet, not sure what time my plane lands. I am flying in from Florida and bringing my sister.

Maureen,

I am traveling alone, so 1, and I am hoping that I will be able to make it to the meet and greet... I will keep up my planning and let you know!
Maureen,

I'm traveling alone as well. I've already made all accommodations. I read that the Ramada Inn's M&G's aren't that good.
