The Navy PIR rate at Springhill Suites is $99/nite. I got 2 queen beds and a sleep sofa. There is a very nice complimentary breakfast. There is a heated indoor pool (the hotel in Virginia also had a hot tub). The room has a fridge, microwave and kitchenette. There is a 24 hour Walmart directly across the street...for stocking your kitchenette!! You can sign up for the shuttle when you check in...it is a few dollars a person. You probably won't walk to PIR but, I heard that the short drive is worth it. I sure hope so! Now, I need plane tickets....but, I am worried about the Grad n Go thing. I saw another Mom say that her son is the same rate as mine, he is going to Pensacola which is where our Recruiter expects Paul to go, and her son is Grad n Go!
I am here...Just wanted to say good morning everyone...I am staying at the Red Carpet Inn near the base. They have free shuttle to graduation. We will have a rental car but not driving it to PIR. Getting so excited. I think when I finally get to hug my SR, I may never let him go.
I know... I can't wait to see my girl!! I miss her so much! I wonder if we can go see them once they get to their schools? I don't know where she will be though, her job is changing! LOL
Hello Tiffsmom, I haven't written any comments lately. It's great to see several people in the same division. We're staying at the Residence Inn in Waukegan, and renting a car. Will fly in Chicago, Thursday and leave out Sunday. I guess the information was correct about our division getting in trouble after last weeks phone priviledges. Does anyone know what happened? Tiffsmom, I see your comment about the group having a page, but didn't see a link where I could add it as one of my groups. Did you purchase the pin for the division that are being made by the lady on the NFM site?
I replied to this.... where did it go?? LOL Stupid thing!!! I don't know if we can add this as one of our groups?? That would be cool if we could!! I didn't order a pin yet... I really need to do that!!
No I sure don't... I was glad that I even saw this up there! LOL
DID ANYONE of 328 get letters today??? I did NOT but my mail is usually a day later than everyone elses for some reason :(
Hello 328!!!! I have been so busy at work and home, it feels like I have not checked in weeks...instead of days! Still no mail or phone call this week. I am really hoping that the mailman has left a "gift" for me when I get home from work!! I really need to hear that boys voice....have had my phone glued to me!

AJ...so sorry to hear tha Jen's parents are not sharing! Thank you, for being part of the group! You are special to us!!

I need to order the ribbons, also!
Forgot to mention....I was cleaning out a drawer of "stuff", and found greeting cards that I bought but hadn't used yet. One of them was a quote about "teamwork" on the front with a picture of a "crew" team rowing. I wrote a note of encouragement and sent it to the entire division in Paul's envelope...I hope he figures out that it is for all of them!!! You never know with boys!
I didn't get mail today :( Ohhhh I hope Tiff is hanging in there, she is not a fighter or arguer. Then again, she may come out a bitch! LOL
No mail today for myself or my daughter....a friend of Paul's did receive a letter! Hope we get one tomorrow! I can't believe I haven't heard Paul's voice since August 9th.........please, let the phone ring!!!!

Sharon, do you have a plan if Tiff calls while you are driving your bus? I have to drive for someone tomorrow afternoon, and all I keep thinking is how am I gonna answer if Paul calls when I have a bus full of kids? Guess maybe it will have to be considered an emergency call...I'll have to pull over and take it!!!! LOL :D
I won't be able to answer or pull over, but left a message on my phone for her (and the world) that if she calls and I'm on a run to call me back in a few because I will check it after the last kid gets off for each run.... I pray she doesnt call while I'm driving :( if nothing else, maybe she will call her sister, not my husband, he won't ask her anything hahaha my daughter will!! LOL
