Hi....Is the ship number the only thing that changed on the address?
The street changes. It is 3600 Ohio Street and the zip is only 60088, no plus four
Thank you sooooo much.
Hi again Hazel!! So glad to hear it came!! I can tell my Davon is home sick too; it just breaks my heart, but, at the same time, he sounds in good spirits and is "doin' work to get it dun"! Now let's pray for the phone call!! As of last weekend, I started forwardng my home calls to my cell if I leave the house, just to not miss him in case he gets to call. Just think, from a mental perspective, just a few more days and we can officially say they only have 4 weeks left!! :D
Hi Division 948 moms, I wanted to ask ya'll to send me a message (do not post last names on this site) with the names of your son or daughter that is in this divison. Please give me their first and last name so I can ask my son if he knows them. He said that he knows a recruit who's moms name is Tracy, that is on our website. All he gave me was his last name. It starts with "G". He thinks they are from Kansas. He thought it was really neat to know that the mom's are talking to each other.
Hi Vincent's mom -
I am the mom, Tracy from Kansas. My son's name is Vincent. He goes by Vinny in the civilian world......My son mentioned your son in his last letter. They do know each other. He didn't say much else. Gave me the names of a few others who should be on the site but I haven't located any of them. No mail today and so far, no phone call. :( How about you?
No, no phone call. I did get two letters yesterday, He said he really likes it there. He has been very sick and said alot of them have been sick. He said he should be able to call very soon, but he doesn't know exactly when. Make sure you keep your phone very close. I really think we should get a call very soon. Make sure you let me know if you get one. I will do the same. Does your son seem to like it ok?

My name is Debbie, and it is very nice talking with you!
OK Div 948 moms!!!! I think it is our turn! Alot of the other divisions have been getting phone calls. I'm sure ours is coming soon! I have my fingers and toes crossed that we hear something today. I know everyone says that no news is good news.....but I would like a little "good news" by phone. LOL
... well, so far, i can imagine that's a lot of fingers and a lot of toes for the mom's in this group (and not including dads, family, friends), so, consider me in, cuz this is yet another weekend of forwarding calls to the cell in hopes to hear from my Davon!! :o)
Any moment now, we'll all get a call. This is what I keep telling myself, anyways. Consider me also in, on the fingers and toes being crossed waiting for the phone call:)
Still no call in KS. The local time is 5:45pm. I was just SURE it would be today. I am so disappointed. Monday (tomorrow) will mark 4 weeks since my son boarded a plane and headed to Chicago. I have been doing pretty good until today. No call today though really sent my spirits into a downward spiral. I think I need ice cream....
Yes, I to am disappointed. I really thought we would get our call today. I thought we would all get our calls and go rushing to the computer to let everyone know. : ( KSmom....I'll meet you in the kitchen with a spoon. We can have a big ole pity party. LOL
