Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to Your Division!  I hope you will be able to attend the Meet and Greet.  Just to make it fun I hope you will take a little time and design a simple flag to represent your division at the Meet and Greet that will be used to designate your divisional table.  While we will all meet together as a PIR group it will help you find each other as a division as well!  Show your creativity!!   Each division will have some individual issues because each division will be unique.  I hope you will find this discusssion helpful and fun!!

Hello all. I am so excited for graduation... I would love to know who else is in my sons division
my son is in this division as well
My husband is in this ship-div. Only 44 days left lol!
My boyfriend is in this divisionn. I can't wait to finally be able to see him again and I'm so incredibly proud of him :]
My husband is in this division...so excited to see him at PIR! Since we started dating we haven't spent a day apart in over 3 years so this is a change, especially for our 2 yr old son.
Hi my son is in this division as well, i'm gonna be just as HAPPY as him come graduation day can't wait 2 see him here he will look different.
I didn't either...I'm in South Texas so maybe tomorrow, hopefully

Letters are mailed out on Mondays so Wednesdays and Thursdays are big mail days. I hope you will come out to the main chat and get acquainted as well. We will be having a meet and greet in GL on Nov. 4th at 6PM - so make plans now. I got my letter today...but many did not. Glad to have you here and I look forward to getting to know you!!
My best friend is an AF brat and in fact I met her when her dad was stationed in Why NoT Minot ND...lol. Anyway...she just laughs at me and how hard I have taken my son going to boot camp. her perspective is much more like yours. Welcome to our group! It will great to have your perspective and you probably have some great tips for coping from your own life! I look forward to getting to know you. So was your family ever lucky enough to be stationed in "why not Minot"??
I can understand you wishing for that since Minot is not an option....lol...when were you in Minot...did you live on base??? What a small world??
