Aren't these just the longest days in your life?  I'm now a mailbox junkie, hangin' out by the box all the time just waiting for that letter!

Does anyone have a son or daughter Ship 6, Div 945?  Being a performance division, I'd love to hear what you know about the workload and their (few) extra privileges.

        Thank you all!

Hello Whaletalkers, No unfortunately I couldn't find a photo. :( I hope it all goes well and there will just be lots to celebrate on the 24th.:)) Maybe the RDC's won't know about her birthday and everything will be fine.
A lady on the PIR 9/10/2010- by the name of Iris- took some super awesome pictures of the flag bearers, band and rifle team. You might have to add her as a friend to see them. Just message her your child is in the 900 division and add her. She was really sweet telling me about it. I saw my son, I even had my son who is still home confirm it was him. :) I am a happy, crying Mom.
Hey all! I am not a Navy mom but my wife is in this division and I have been reading everything you guys have been saying. It was really neat seeing the parade. You all have been very informative!

Whaletalkers, I think I read that you have been to other graduations for your other sons. I had a question for you if you don't mind. I am going to the graduation with our one year old daughter and on the letter they sent us, it says strollers are allowed but discouraged. I have no idea what the place looks like or how the seating is laid out. I was wondering if you could let me know if bringing the stroller would be a good idea or not?
You can bring one, but if you can do without it you would be much better off. If its not a tight folding one then you will probably have to stay down on the main floor and not get a good view. If it was me, no I wouldnt bring it. Comfy blankie, snack and something to drink. and favorite cuddly toy. Like I said its loud in there, even before the 'show' begins. Hope this helps Shane.

Shane have you found the Recruit Training Command on facebook? There are more photos of the PIR there also.
