Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

Thanks for your reply. I am glad that I am not the only who thinks that we should receive a letter soon or a call.
Oh, I am so disappointed every day when I go to the mailbox and no letter from RTC, esp. since he sounded a bit disgruntled in the little note at the bottom of the form letter. Just want one letter that says he's having a good time and getting to know other recruits. Just one, then I can relax. We had a garage sale on Sat. to help with the tickets to PIR, and made over $400! So excited about that!
I am with you. I just want letter that says I am alright from her. Maybe this week we will all get one. It is Sunday and I think this is the day they get to write if they get time. Congratulations on making $400. for your tickets. That is great news.
savannahgal-A bit disgruntled? Well, that is mild compared to our first several lines. Not sure what to expect, I suppose it could go either way, still hates it, or loves it !!!
We are having a neighborhood garage sale this Sat. and our profits should go toward our trip too. Just hope it doesn't rain........am hoping we all get a letter or call this week and we can share them. If they get free time on Sundays then maybe by Wed. we will have something !!
Same here just a waiting for the first good letter .We hope it will come this week .Good luck on the neighborhood garage i hope you sell it all .
has anyone on ship 11 div 366 gotten phone calls or mail yet?
Sorry, not here yet.
I am beginning to think it is just ship 11 and div 366.
Why do you think it is just ship 11, div 366? This pretty much what we were told to expect.
I was actually just kidding. I just got a note from my daughter's recruiter and she told me that we should hear any day now. So I will keep hoping and going to the mailbox.
Oh, okay. Sorry, but you seemed so serious. I thought, "Really? She thinks there is a conspiracy?"

This waiting is tough!
I wish we didn't have to wait so long. I am sure the recruiter thought I was crazy when I asked about it. Maybe Wednesday will be the big day for all of us! Wouldn't that be wonderful!
