Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

I am on the west coast so I won't even hope until Thursday.
I am on the west coast too. I am on the border of Washington and Idaho. Where are you? You are probably right. We won't see anything until Thursday or Friday. Darn it!
We use to live on the left, I mean West coast too. Came from CA. 9 yrs. ago. Will let you know when we get a letter too but that depends on whether our recruits actually wrote us something !! We are assuming that, you know !!!
It's 46 deg. this morning Brrr...!! so think I will go for a walk to warm up a bit.
I am in Northern California, Sonoma County, north of San Francisco.

My daughter called her boyfriend today. She told him that they could call three times total. Line of phones in a room and a line waiting. He said they talked for 30 minutes. Form letter came Tuesday, she said that she could send it after she caught up, she had been sick. She is feeling better.
Hi ladies,

My BF is also on this ship and division!! I have not heard anything from him yet either. I am only about 8 hours from Great Lakes, I am hoping I will recieve something today...but nothing yet...like all the other ladies I will update as soon as I hear something =)

I know we are all excited to hear/see/talk to our men!!!
or women, as the case may be!
I apologize...women too
No worries. It sounds like there are a good number of women in their group.
Hello everyone--my name is Kay and I live just outside San Antonio. I am happy to find this group since our sons/daughter's/spouses are all in the same Division. I haven't heard from my son Cody yet, but am anxiously awaiting a first letter or phone call. I heard they can write letters on Sunday, so maybe later this week I'll hear something. I was interested to see that there are also women in this division. My son's girlfriend Alicia shipped out about a week after he did, so they are there at the same time.

I have my plane reservations and hotel reservations at the Navy Lodge. Tick tock tick tock, right??
wow...still no letter...whats up ship 11 div 366??? you guys (gals) being bad...and so they punish us here at home???
