Midway is less expensive - at least that is what I found. And in talking with my dad who used to travel through there frequently he said it will be much easier to get to GL from Midway than through O'Hare, especially if you are flying in at rush hour....Midway is about 25 miles further away though, so you need to balance what is important to you....
Thannk you SO much!
Sharon and Kgswife...hope they both get better soon..My SR was sick weeks ago and they got him on the anitibotics and he is better now but it took about 2 weeks. I will add them to our prayer chain and pray for a speedy recovery...
Thank you, it is so appreciated. We know that the division has been working so well together, we pray that they are all healthy for BS-21!
Do you know times for BS-21? my SRs family and I have a flight that leaves at noon.. and we get to Chicago around 2 or 3 I believe... I would hate for us to miss his phone call because we are on the flight...
BS21 starts at 8pm and runs through 8am. I'm not sure when they will get the chance to make the call after it's over. But I've read that it could be right away to they end up doing stuff and not being able to call for a while... Wish I could be more definitive on the time of the call for you...
They usually start calling around 2 central time. Could be a bit earlier. Just put a v-mail on your phone letting him know you are on the plane getting there and what time you think you will land. Also let him know this in a letter so he can be ahead of the curve. The phone bank is going to be packed with Sailors wanting to call home, they are given a specific amount of time, so each will try to use it up, as many calls as can make in say 45. mins.
Yeah I told him all the flight information... I believe we land around 2 Central time, so if that is case that is perfect timing :)
Hi everyone I just booked my flight, hotel and car reservations...So if anyone needs a ride I'm by myself and you could ride with me...the offers out there for anyone if you need it...
my son has same pir and ship but his div is 370
That's our brother division. They will have Battlestations together & all PIR together.
Good Evening Everyone, we received a letter today it was very positive but he sounds so home sick which leads me to believe he is getting a little nervous about next week. Pulled out all the stops on the prayer chain here at home got the blue candles, is it to early to start lighting them now
