Nancy, good to hear he made it through Meps and I can relate on the weight. Jen had to do similar. She didn't want to eat before she left cause she was worried about making weight.
just got a text her plane has landed in Chicago. they will probably be processing in together tonight lol.

Donna
YAY! Donna. She is on the ground.

I bet you are relieved.

Betsy
That is great news, Donna. Hugs. Kathy
Good to hear Joseph made it. they are all going to have a long night. but I feel relieved they are finally on their way!
Donna
I told him to advise his group to sleep while they were waiting in the airport and on the planes. So, hopefully, the turbulence wasn't so bad and they actually took naps. Thanks to you guys on the web site, I read something that they would be tired and may not be able to sleep until late after arrival, so I relayed that to Joseph and he informed his group. They were flying from 2pm yesterday and finally arrived at 12:23am. They made it and that should be the first test of boot camp for them - They passed it!,,Kim
Kim, Congratulations and Hugs. I am glad he arrived safely. Have a nice day. Kathy
got the call. I have arrived. Box in a week call in three weeks. She sounded in good spirits amused for some reason. Of course I told her to have a good night and she laughed.
Donna
I got a call at about 9:30PM eastern time that TJ was on the ground in Chicago, yay!! Now I wait for "the call". Anyone have any Idea how long it takes until they get to call? Just wodering if I need to stay up or go to bed with the phone on my night stand. I am glad to hear our men and women are arriving safe.
It is so amazing how they are all from so many different places and are there for the same purpose. So Proud!!
Stacey
My son got in very late last night and he didn't get to call when he checked in. I'm not sure if it was because of the time or just too busy and tired... All I know is he got there...
Betsy, i will hit the sack soon then, thanks for the advice.

twosilvatwins, did he call you the next day? or did you not get a call at all?
BTW, glad he is there and safe :)))
My son arrived at the processing center in Great Lakes at 11:23pm EST. He called me from his cell phone and at 12:27am, he called back from his cell phone with a good bye and love you. His wife called me at 12:47am saying that he called her with the official call from the processing center's phone number. Stacey, I hope this helps you. We are definitely here for you, Kim
