Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

where in idaho are you from? i was born there, family is in grandview, mountain home, and rexburg
I am originally from Cincinnati Ohio and moved to Coeur d' Alene Idaho 30 years ago after I got married. That will date me. Now we live in Post Falls Idaho. Northern Idaho is a lot different than southern.
i love cincinnati...how cool we switched states i took classes at UC.... Wow post falls...are you sure your not in Canada ;) i think we have an impostor on here
We are very close to Canada. Have only visited once since I have lived here. Believe it or not! It is beautiful here with the mountains and lakes.
I went to UC too. What a small world.
Hoping for a call today. My recruit said there are a few that keep messing up and they may not get anymore calls. That would be a bummer
If you have Facebook go to: Recruit Training Command and "Like" it and you can see photos of a PIR that happened only yesterday. Kinda gives you and idea. So cool !!!
Thanks Diana for the info. This is the only group I'm mostly on, so if you hear of or see anything just let me know.
Thanks
ok. i tried but i didn't see any pictures, what did i do wrong....help
deb-i will send you a private message. Look for it soon.
Hello everyone--sorry I haven't posted much here. I read all of the posts each day on my iPhone but for some reason can't post comments from there. I get home so late often, I'm not big on spending time on my computer. Anyway, I'm ready to burn my blue candle next Thursday for BS21. I was hoping to get a phone call today after their big test ("confidence room") on Friday, but so far nothing. I did get a letter on Thursday--short and sweet, but still a letter. My son told me that Div. 366 is in line to be recognized as the top division in their group--they are all doing so well now. Bravo for them coming together like that! I know it wasn't easy. He said their biggest problem is they talk too much. I will be curious to know if they are all GNG or not. i guess we'll know pretty soon.

I also ordered by blue star flag--it hasn't arrived yet. I leave a week from Wednesday for GL and we are staying in the Navy Lodge. See you all there!
Kat-Good to hear from you and that you kept in touch even tho we didn't see you here. Cannot believe that they talk too much. That is hilarious !! Especially if it's all guys. There just has to be females in there somewhere. ; )
My last day of work was today, yay !!! Now, I can focus on stuff for the trip Gotta find a blue candle, where did you get yours?
Great news on the Div. doing so well, I'm sure that makes them very proud. We are not staying at the Navy Lodge but hope to meet you somewhere. Remember to dress very warm. Much different weather than where you are coming from.
What do you need a blue candle for? Are we supposed to have one for graduation?
only thing I have heard is that it is tradition to light one during the day of Battlestations. If I find out more, I'll let you know >>>>>
Please do and thank you. So the rumor is that it is November 4th or do we know for sure? It is probably in the morning wouldn't you think? I can't wait. Ladies we only have eleven more days until we see our Navy men and women. How exciting!
