Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

I don't want to jinx us...my hubby said gas chamber chamber went b great..still lots of talking The RDCs haven't given out there test scores or orders or rewards because they want to keep them focused on the task at hands...BST,21...can't wait...he also said they get to send and receive mail a lot more often now
Terra-How did you get all the information? Heard from him lately?
Are we still thinking that the BST 21 is going to be on the fourth? I want to burn my blue candle. My daughter said the gas chamber wasn't too bad. She had me laughing. She hasn't lost her sense of humor. I am still carrying my phone around in desperate hope of receiving a call before the BST 21.
The poor girl had a fever that day before the gas chamber and thank goodness her fever broke that night. She said if you go to the sick bay that can set you back two weeks. She doesn't want that to happen.
yes, this Thursday the 4th is Battlestations.
Thanks and my blue candle will be burning.
Yes i got a letter from him Monday, I've been getting one everyother day...awesome...he did say BST-21 was on Wend. but I decided that was a mistake. They get to pick up there photos on Monday, I know that bc i called the photo lab and begged the guy to change C's order...he was confused but sweet and did so, I think all the push ups have gone to my hubbys head...He order a HUGE package of 170$ photos that we didn't want so he could get th 30$ keal for free. I think I'm the only one who hasn't picked out their outfit for PIR yet ;) so much planning to do...not use to doing it all on my own but i cant wait to see him...sorry in advance for pushing you all over to get to my hubby after that liberty call 11/12
Oh good grief! I'm sure I don't want $170 of photos either and if I get them, you all are getting one whether you want one or not! ; ) . Picking out my outfit for PIR will consist of walking down the hall and looking in my closet. We'll be in the bleachers and no one will care what I'm wearing. It will be suitable but probably nothing new.
Glad you have been getting letters so often, that way we learn just a little bit more. 365/366 are the first to have Battlestations so not sure if that's good or not but we will be praying for them all day and maybe then they will get a phone call.
I'm with you on the clothes Nola. I'm wearing nice jeans a pretty sweater and comfy shoes....

As for the pictures I need to split them between me, my ex husband and two sets of grandparents. Hopefully my son got what I told him to, but at least I did confirm he ordered them and will pick them up next Tuesday!

You know that 365 and 366 are going to set the bar so high being the first to go through BStations the rest of the divisions - mine included - will have to really reach to catch them!
Diana - I never heard a word about pictures except that they were going to be taken from my recruit. Can only imagine what he ordered since that is something I usually take care of. In my info about what to bring to PIR it says that we will be paying for the photo pkgs. then? It says $140 minimum. or do the recruits pay?
Oh, I see, the first Div.'s set the standard for the rest. Well, if they don't stop chatting so much they won't get much accomplished !
I like your picture, kinda getting us ready. : ) Which reminds me..........better get it together and get mine.
From what I heard the SR's could order and pay for the packages in advance or just order and then we pay for them when we get there. There was a deal I think that if they were ordered and paid for prior to PIR then they would also get the Keel thrown in the mix.

I'm glad you like the picture! I need to find one for my house. My husband leaves Saturday morning then comes home Monday night so I'll be alone on BS21 for my guy (Sunday). Then he leaves again Tuesday comes home Weds night and then we fly out together Thursday! My poor hubby! I'm just glad he's coming!!!!!
What in the world is the Keel ? I know absolutely nothing !!!
Am glad your husband is coming after all, yes he does have a hectic schedule.
You know you will NOT be alone during BS, you certainly have all the other ladies in your Div. right along with you. They will be a great source of encouragement !!! You will all help each other.
