Hi moms.  My daughter grads 12/3/10 and I'm missing her something fierce!  Has anyone received a second telephone call?  Seems this division has less contact than others - a friend's daughter went to boot 2 weeks after mine and she's received letters and phone calls sooner than i did.  Anyone here from Michigan?

I got the phone call when my son arrived and then another when he was on sick call but, thats been it other than letters. My son did say they are in a push Div so rather than 8 weeks of boot they are doing it in 6 1/2 weeks.
wow you got a lot of letters in there... i only got two letters and a call
Is ship 3 div 018 in battlesttions this week? Does anyone know? I'm going NUTS!
I don't know, I was thinking that it might be the week before PIR or maybe next week.
the battle stations starts in tuesday before PiR
i dont really know but they said they will start the battle stations on tuesday before thanksgiving
i got my second call when he was in for 3rd week... but the first phone call, my boyfriend's dad got it... i only get 18 minutes of call on my second call and he seemed fine... he just said all his fantasy that we will be together as soon as possible and i think he needs to wake up in reality that girlfriends doesnt have a good place in the navy and we cant be together as soon as he wants to. dont worry hang in there we're almost done... just 3 weeks and a day...
You know I worry a bit. It seem like the other ships and divs get phone calls and we don't. You don't think it could be because they are messing up?
i hope nothing happen to our Seaman Reacruits...i havent get any calls today too.. but ship09div9and div 10 got a call today...
I don't know -- but we are way low on the amount of communication compared to the others. My daughter said she's proud of the Division -- didn't say anything particular about them being in trouble or messing up. She complained of the food a bit - and she has shin splints. Other than that - her letters are a fairly good tone. Thanksgiving is a bummer -- she is going with a church group to their home for dinner, She didn't send us the application so we could come and get her to take her off base for the holiday.
my boyfriend didnt send the form to his parents too.. i was planning to stay 2 weeks in chicago but just realize that why the heck am i going to do that if i cant be with my boyfriend and he will be a grad and go...

i haven't get that much letter too... he only write just 1 page for me and got 2 mails... got 1 call... so i dont know whats going on... i hope they are not in trouble
I know what you mean, my son told them no that we would not be coming for Thanksgiving because as he said we always do Thanksgiving in St. Charles, Mo with his Grandmother and that he would be seeing us a week later. He doesn't know that his Grandmother passed away on Oct 27. I would have given anything to spend Thanksgiving with him.
