Maryland Mom, my daughter(Shaniece) started that discussion on the RTC Facebook page and says she has spoken with you a few times!

Hi there!  I think that Monday sounds about right.  If they have the captains cup tomorrow, they would  not have BS today, right?  They have a hard time participating.  This is becoming quite the adrenaline rush.  I go to work thinking about what he is doing and checking my phone as much as possible.  Can't wait to see him.  I will have to wait until Friday night!  Hope all is well with your son and god bless all the recruits.  Give them strength and courage to persevere!

Kathy, I agree with you.  I have never seen a BattleStations on Friday night because of Captains Cup Sat.  My feeling is that 19 and 20 may go on Sunday night.  I think all in those divisions should have phones handy on Monday for the I'm a Sailor calls.

Hi Tracey !! Yes, I have spoken to her several times !! I cant wait to meet both of you ! I was kinda hoping that it was over for them, but maybe a few extra days will work out for the best.My son pulled a muscle in his back from coughing so hard from a cold he has picked up.He went to medical, but doesnt want to make a big deal out of it. Afraid it will hold him back. He said that the flu & now pink eye is going crazy thru their division. No where to hide !! Sounds like the Lysol can needs to be brought in !!

MarylandMom - My son missed the live fire because of pink eye! He has never had it in his life until now. I think that puts in perspective how closely they are living and how easy it is to get sick. Susan

Donna & Susan, I hope both of your recruits are doing well now.  ((hugs))

Kathy, I'm hoping for my phone call on Monday or Tuesday.

Dianne, my son is in Div. 020, so I think they may possibly go first.  I'm thinking that I probably won't get that call until maybe Mon or Tues either.

Maryland Mom, Sorry to hear about your son's injury. Sounds like he is already one of the tougher ones. Look forward to meeting you to! Can't wait for Tuesday to get my call. We are leaving on Wednesday to head up there. Just hope the weather is not too bad for travelling in. Read today that the flights into and out of Chicago Midway are delayed, re-directed, or cancelled due to the weather, that is where we are flying in to. Keep your fingers crossed for us and for all other travellers heading that way. Thanks. See you soon! Tracy

I got a letter saying BS for 020 would be 13th and 14th and I would receive my call on the 14th, got the letter on 12/03

Division 904 has battlestations on Tuesday

Good luck to all our sailors on their Battlestations coming up!    WE LOVE YOU GUYS AND GALS AND ARE CHEERING FOR YOU!!!

I got a letter from my son yesterdy, he says his division (ship 03 div 23) will do battlestations wed the 15th

Praying for all the recruits as they do their final test of BattleStations. May they all pass with flying colors, and come out safely. Also may they never forget the time that they have spent in Great Lakes, and the friendships they have made.May they continue on as Sailors representing our Navy for the greatest Country in the World !!  So proud & honored of all from PIR 12/17/10 !!
