Just a suggestion....can we find out what divisions are all female and all male?  069 is an all male division and Lavender is doesn't thrill me nor would it all the boys....just a suggestion....

My daughter said there are no all female divisions, they are integrated.

Also, are these like winter scarves or something different?

ship 09 div 067 is integrated. we could go purple or pink? just a thought.....

Ame-winter scarves is what I got out of the mentioned post from Arwen..is that what you are thinking?

How about all of us Navy 4 Moms wear all one color! then they would know we are all connected together and we have been supporting each other and them through this Boot Camp experience...this would solve the male/female issue. What does everyone else think?

LEXSMOM --- LOVE this idea --- in fact, just posted the same idea on the main discussion forum ... maybe wear one color that is DIFFERENT than what anyone else would wear normally ... and then somehow "streak" it with our "division" colors?   It would be easy to spot a N4M member that way, and I would love a chance to see ALL of you ... PLUS --- imagine how much cooler it would look for that many people to wear a single color (like a white-out at a sports game) than a few people here and there in different colors ...

Thoughts?

tls- We are on the same page. Liking the look- scarves could be Navy blue, with a ribbon of color (of our division color) running down the center of the scarf. They could be made of fleece (like the blankets everyone makes) then buy the ribbon color of your Division and sew down the center of the scarf. Really simple to do.....I love this stuff.. I vote for one unified color with our Division color down the center!!

OR ... Yellow scarves, only because they are easier to spot, less likely to be worn by anyone else and easier to put dark colors (my division color is black) into .... problem is that I don't know how to do this stuff ... how long do they take to make?  Wonder if anyone would be willing to make them for those of us "not so crafty" ... :-)

I could make the yellow scarves and bring to meet and greet. It would be hard to get all the ribbon colors put on for everyone ahead of time. What with trying to figure out who, what color how many etc.,,,

Maybe we should all just wear a bright yellow scarf! And if you are able to do it, add your Division color. Everyone should be able to find one of those this time of year, and there is still time to order online......just trying  to make this less complicated.

i'll look too for some fleece.. great idea.. yellow/gold... and the black for division  black is my son's favorite color... thanks so much for sharing all.. love my son but he's short on communicating.. rather short and sweet then not hear from him at all.. am starting a scrap book of his letters etc that i get while he is at BC...
I really like this color scheme idea> easy enough to make out of fleece with the stripe down the middle. I think I will make a trip to the fabric store today and try it. I'll post a picture of my finished efforts. Great idea - Lexsmom!
Great! Thank you.
Scarf idea sounds so thrilling and I'm definitely in! My husband is Ship 09 Div 071!
