My Husband is Ship 03 Div 084 with a PIR date of 2/18 I have not had any phone calls. or letters from him besides the phone call I got when he first arrived, I have received his box of civilian clothes right before Christmas and just got his graduation pack in yesterday.  Looking for others who might be in the same boat as me.

My son is also in the same DIV. No phone calls yet since the one letting me know he arrived and that is to be expected. Next phone call will be in about 3 weeks from what I understand. I received the form letter today and am busy planning my trip to PIR.
My Son is Ship 03 Div 085! All we have received is his clothes and the I made it call! I am hoping this week brings more news!
My son's recruiter gave me Ship 02, Div 084 . . . I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet. I will be at PIR.
Has anyone gotten a form for Tri-care yet? my husband's Insurance runs out in a few days from his old Job, and haven't received the Tri-Care Ins Form in yet and hate to be un-insured with 2 little ones(ages 2 1/2 and 4 months).  Called his recruiter, he is going to see what he can do about it... can't wait to get over this part of Navy Life...

I'm at the same stage as you Purplemom. I'm starting to breathe a little easier though. Even the form letter with his small note made me feel better. I booked a flight just because the airport we will fly from is smaller and I was afraid that we wouldn't get the flight we wanted if I waited too long. I know things can happen but I'm putting my faith in the fact that everything is going to work out. I'm just glowing with positive energy!!! (Anything else makes me a big worry wart)  :-)  I've been looking at hotels but can't decide between the Ramada, Springhill Suites or Residence Inn.

This goes out to everyone in my husband's Division(Ship 03 Div 084)- Including you Purplemom, I got a call from my husband tonight and he told me that he got the Flu, and Half his Division.  But as far as he can tell everyone is okay, just a little sickly...
My son is Ship 3 division 084- We havent heard from him yet except the box and the form letter. Looking forward to some word from him! I hope your husband feels better, and hopefully I'll hear from my boy soon- but not that he gt the flu ! :(

Got the form letter today . . . my son is Ship 03 (not 02) and division 084.

I posted details in the PIR 2-18-2011 thread.

Happy New Year!   Hope to see y'all in February!

EagleMom - Sorry to hear he got the flu. Probably because they all got the flu mist. Tends to make people get a mild case of the flu if they haven't had it. My son got his flu shot back in September so hopefully he was spared. I work at the military hospital for one of doctors here. My son had some lab work done right before they left and it came back the other day (all is good) and one of my coworkers had to upload it into the computer system (the entire US military uses a singular worldwide computerized medical record system) While she was in there she told me she saw that my son was given a whole host of shots on the 27th of December. She told me she thought it was funny he received another flu shot. I told her they give them everything regardless of when they last had it. So that was probably the beginning of the flu for those that had not had the flu mist before.

Happy New Years Everyone!!

Has anyone heard from their SR yet??? I am really hoping to get a letter soon!
No word here either, no letters, no anything... I was really hoping to get in my package for my Military ID, so I can get on base and get this Medical stuff figured out for me and the kids.  But still.. nothing

You have company on your ship.. My son has PIR 2/18 as well. Ship 03 / Div 080    as of today.. Only the form letter and box have arrived..

No news is good news.. but I am still ready for a letter.
