I am so glad that I have found other moms in the group. Hopefully we can meet at the meet and greet on Feb 17 Look forward to meeting all of you. I have only recieved the forum letter. No regular mail yet. No calls. I am going crazy. Thought they would for sure let her call on Christmas. But I guess to the Navy its just another day. Trust me I cussed them dearly...>LOL Anyways My daughters name is Kaysha. Will talk to you all again...
I'm looking forward to meeting you all. I havent recieved any calls or letters yet. I checked the mail yesterday on my way in from work before it being a holiday even clicked(mail didn't run). I am beginning worry because of not recieving a letter. But, no news is good news. I remember waiting for her dads letters while he was in BC, that was nothing compared to this. I will being crossing my fingers hoping for letters for us all. Take care.
Woohooo got letters today... About 5 of them all stuck together in different enevelopes . Said that she almost got to call but a shirt was folded wrong. She sounded in good spirits so. Wanted to share with you all.
I had a message that some moms and wives wanted me to post the info about PIR ribbons I make. They were worried that some people might only be on these discussions and not see the ribbon info on the main page. So at their request here it is. :) There are more pics on my page as well as pics of Navy scrapbook embellishments I make and sell.  Everyone who orders ribbons gets a free handmade scrapbook embellishment with their order. It is hard to believe how soon your PIR is. We are trying to get over a winter storm. We got about a foot of snow the last couple of days, way too much for NC lol. We just aren't equipped to get rid of it like they are up north. If you have questions or want more info send me a message or friend request. Thanks

Got a stack of 4 letters myself a couple days ago from Sierra.  She definately sounds much improved from her original letters.  The biggest problem she is having now is getting some of the others to figure out exactly what teamwork is all about and how to be quiet when they need to be quiet.  But from life experience, i told here that is easier said than done...lol.  Her biggest request was more letters, so My friend and I, our sons, and their friends all had a card making party, filling her request with some cards sent each day.  She ought to be bombarded with them by now.

My name is Michelle, by the way, and can't wait to see you all at PIR
