I sent a request to join.  It is April Ewing.  I do not share the last name of my recruit as I am remarried.

April,

I didn't see your request.  Maybe you can send another one.  The page is Navy RTC PIR 2/11/11

Okay, I sent a request.
Great Job on the Facebook group, Mdub!! --- Thanx for doing that!
Yea we can speak a little more freely on that.  I think we will have to be sure and not let our SRs join though!  Wouldn't want them to know how worried we are or how we are speculating about their every move!
We finally received a phone call from our recruit this past Sunday--- only about 5 or 6 minutes, but it was Great to hear our son's Voice; our family was passing the phone around so everyone could get a few words in!  Not long till Graduation--- yeah!!!!!  We also got a letter on Monday, after waiting for 2 long wks. since the last one!  =)
Tx if you have iphones there is a way that you can add a call and start a conference.  We did that on Sunday and it worked pretty easily.
Don't have iphones... thanks for the idea tho--- glad you got a call also!   Isn't too much longer till Grad.!!  =)
By the way, my name is Connie, so I won't have to be called 'Lifeboat' up at GL, ha ha!!!  But if you yell out 'Lifeboat', I will probably Answer!   =)

Ok.  Well I may just yell out Lifeboat and you can yell out Mdub!  Have you joined our facebook group?  Just search for Navy RTC PIR 2/11/11.  It is a locked group so we can use our first and last names if we want to,

I sent a request yesterday I think, but haven't heard back yet.
Yes, I did that today...  We also received a letter from our son this afternoon!  I was so happy =)  He said he got Sharpshooter & will get a ribbon on his uniform---he was Very proud of that!--- esp. since he & his older brother like guns so much... what can I say?? They're Texas boyz!!   He also said they've got alot of Flags--- sounds like quite a few, too--- I am sooo proud of them All!   I think their Division will do really well at their Battlestation thingie!  (Please, Lord, keep All of them well and strong for that! Amen!!)
