my recruit didnt pass her running test. I know she is very upset and I only got to speak to her for a few minutes. Her dad and I are worried about her. She said she had to move out of her ship and away from her division. She will not graduate on Friday. But, what's next? We are out of our minds worrying about it, with no contact to find out what happens next. Can anybody shed some light?

thanks for the positive thoughts, I'll be sending the same your way, too! :) I knew this would be hard, but I didnt think it would be this hard this soon...

jenj, how is your daughter doing? I just read your message from a week ago. I am sure the Navy is taking good care of your daughter. Many recruits get sick and injured. My son did too. Hang in there.

Let me know what happens.

She seems  OK. We get to talk to her on the phone once a week and we get letters twice a week. Xrays show her heel is getting better, slowly. They said she'd be doing 4 levels of physical therapy, and now is on level 2, walking but not yet running on her injury. Most days she's pretty optimistic. We try our best to offer encouragement, but that's hard to do long-distance. We're hoping another few weeks and she'll be able to pass her run and move on. And we hope to get to visit her before she leaves for A school. Thanks for asking, Hope your son is doing great now, jenj

jenj, sounds like she is doing great. If the doctors thought there was no hope of her recovering, she would have been out of the Navy weeks ago. I know another mom whose daughter had an injured foot. It took her a long time to recover but she graduated. She graduated 2 months after he division and is doing great.

My son is loving the Navy. He is due to graduate from (A)school at Great Lakes the end of March beginning of April. Then he will go to (C)school in VA hopefully. He is going to be an FC (in charge of missiles and guns on a ship). Do you know what your daughters job will be yet?

She wants a career in Law Enforcement, so she'll be Master At Arms, very ambitious! probaby will go to San Antonio for A school

jenji, how exciting for her. I think that is a good career choice.

and it is warm in San Antonio Texas :)
