oh yea i am im testing out the computer and stuff.... :)
My boyfriend is also but he is staying in GL.
How will we know if they are Grad n Go? My son is also staying in GL.
My boyfriend told me on sunday he was a grad n go. But if they are staying in GL it is different. They have to move their stuff to A school and then they get to have time with you. My boyfriend said his chief told them that 9 times out of 10 that they will get overnight liberty, they just have to check in by phone.
I got this from the Navy Recruit Training Command FB page,
"Only recruits who are staying in Great Lakes and checking into their A School the same day as graduation are referred to as Grad & Go. Recruits departing RTC on Saturday are called Saturday departures."
I thought there are 2 types of Grad & Go but I guess I was wrong. Only those whose A school is in GL are called Grad & Go. So if you know where your SR's A school is gonna be, you will know if he/she is a Grad & Go. Hope this helps ladies!
does any one know yet where the Corman will be going to school? and if they are grad and go?
anxiously awaiting,
melody Navy mom
Corpsman stay at Great Lakes.
I got such a discouraging letter from my husband today. The group is NOT coming together and he's lost his leadership position due to lots of acting out in the division. Half of the division still isn't passing inspections and continues to disrespect and not follow orders. They are the worst group to come through RTC EVER according to their officers. He mentioned they are being told they may be held back 1-2 weeks. Did anyone else hear that from their SR?
