Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Darla, so far I have only seen like three people with kids 11/121,  where are they all?  I made a page for this ship/div and combined it with 11/122 cause I heard they were together, but noone has responded yet.  Hmmm.
where is your page?? My son left the 7th as well, and I already have sent him many letters, everytime I sit at my desk, there goes another one, smile. I hope he remembers my phone number...its the way things are with technology being their brain,lol
@Lil's mom  There's a discussion I started under the PIR 4/8/2011 group.  View all under the discussion forum you'll see my picture with our ship and division.  Any problems just let me know.....it can be confusing.  Talk to you soon:)

Hello my son also ship11 div 21.We are from New York. We reserve Hotel for graduation SpringHill Suites Chicago Lincolnshire may be we can see yor there,we wil be there 4-7-11 late,we taking the car so we wil may reach there 6-8pm.

Has anyone received a letter from your loved one yet in any of these groups?
No I havent yet just the one sent with the short line saying he was fine. Hoping to get one this week. Sunday is the day they are able to write and phone calls suppose to come in the 4th week.
We received 2 letters today (one written Sunday and one Monday since they had a holiday, so exciting. She says it is harder than she anticipated. It was so great to hear from her, still had some "humor" in her voice:)
@neaveh81  congrats that is exciting news :)  When did your daughter, I'm assuming, get to BC?
