My SR said they they did their pictures on 3/1. Can't wait to get them!!!
Got a letter from my son today.  He said "hell week" was over and it wasn't too bad.  In fact, he thought it was the most fun he's had so far. He qualified as "expert" sharp shooter today, so has earned a ribbon for his dress uniform. His letter was dated March 2, and he said that they had gotten their pictures taken in dress uniform the previous day. He also mentioned that the entire division did well on their exams.  He said that receiving mail was the greatest thing ever, and that by far the hardest thing about boot camp is not being able to talk on a phone....LOL
My letter was dated March 1. My son got his sharp shooter ribbon too! I'm so proud of all of them, they have come so far. He also said hell week was no where near as awful as he thought it would be, not easy but not bad.
are the pictures coming to us before graduation?? or do you know?? sorry this is all new to me--what a wonderful way to communicate--my son is great about the letters just seem to take forever to get them  there is a beeping noise here--not sure what it is--do you know??
I have no idea when we get the pics.Don't apologize, we are all going through the same thing :)
you are so kind   thank you so much

I think the beeping is when your getting a reply to a post.

oh my goodness I am so computer illiterate some times  thank you so much have you heard from yours about any new news??
has anyone heard anything about how many flags they have won?? Last I heard was 3 just wondering--- think we can get our parking passes in a couple of days  so excited
My SR said in letter today that they now had 4.  Don't know what they are but the recent one is to be able to march w/o RDCs.  They must be doing better - said that they now get music when they are folding clothes and some of the guys even dance. LOL
The tone of the letters are so much better. I am so glad.  I can't wait to see my SR.
