my husband is the same way, he is always making people laugh. when he went to the dentist he said the hygienist let him listen to country music and it was so nice. i'm glad they seem to be getting along better.
oh my that is my son all together the same--loves to dance and sing and make everyone laugh all the time, they are so much a like  just crossed off some more days off the calender and am pretty sure monday we can print out the parking passes--oh what fun --they really only have one more week right?? Austin told me in his last letter that he wold be calling me on the 18th to tell me if he made it or not, and then said of course that failure was not an option, good thing already paid for the tickets...I am thinking that is when they get to change from the recruit hat to the navy hat as well?? Do you think that is true??
yup, they have their ceremony the morning they're done with battlestations and get their new cap. :)
Thank you--that was the part Austin was looking forward to the most  --just realizing that phone we get when they are now Sailors  oh my my  tears already  --

I got a letter today well--so proud of him--he got marksman which is very impressive cause I've never seen him shoot a gun before--lol  He said he has 2 medals now and is very excited about the coming week and the phone call on the 18th to tell me he gone from a recruit to a Sailor --He also had to get different size clothes because he had lost 3 inches in his waste and 17 total pounds thus far...he said he was finally getting his 6 pack abs  lol --I just love these letters --when I get them I open them right away in the driveway and cry and laugh and hoot and holler --He hasn't mentioned the flags as yet, so don't have any of that information, but it sounds good

:)
I got 3 letters today and my family got one:) He said he is doing great and that he got a medal for marksman. he has lost 17 pounds!
We got another letter today - I was surprised when he said he has gained 9 pounds.  In the letter to his Dad he talked about the peanut butter shot.  Thought it was funny that it wasn't mentioned to me.

Sooo I got four letters today and do you guys remember saying that Chase got voted honor recruit in Div 110 and had to go up against the 9 other recruits who also got voted honor recruit from the 9 other divisions and face the board of officers, master officer, and senior chiefs well....MY SR WON!!!! I literally cried when I read these words. I had been waiting for this letter:) The title would be "Military Order of World Wars Award"! He's lost 10 pounds and his body fat is 15%

He also mentioned that chief turned on ludacris and some of the guys had a dance battle! Lol

Good for him!  That's great! :)   And I'm so glad they're getting to have some fun, it makes it a little easier knowing they're ok.
oh my that is the bestest news--I am so happy for both of you!!!! What an accomplishment I almost cried reading it from you

Barbara-From what chase tells me, it seems that they are doing awesome!!! :)  I hope i've sent some kind of relief to you

Karen-Thank you soooo much!! It warms my heart just thinking about all his accomplishments so far in this past month and a half :) He talks non stop through out the entire letter about getting engaged in the next couple weeks, so im wondering if he's up to something i dont know about!!!
