Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I guess we will have to wait and see--has he mentioned it before??? Why not at graduation, I couldn't think of a better time than that---oh my how even more exciting--can't wait   gives me chills--so happy for you--and he has been away from you and absence makes the heart grow fonder--
I guess so but thats the part that stinks! I hate surprises. Lol Uhm in EVERY letter he has written he has talked about getting engaged and then tellin me to get a rough idea for a wedding date. He wants to get married right after A school! His three buddies actually wrote me last week telling me about theirselves and added at the very end..."congratulations on the engagement!!" I was like WHAT?! Im not engaged yet. Lol so there is something going on that I REALLY want to know about. Lol
I so happy for you, engaged and you SR graduates the same day,  what a day to remember:). I hoping to receive a letter from my son today to see how he's doing.
I love surprises--but it really doesn't seem to big a of a surprise anymore--sounds like he has a plan for his future and you are in it -- pretty cool --
my husband asked me to ask you guys what your recruits names are (they go by last names)? he talks alot about Jackson and Hudson.  wish my mother in law and i could make it to the meet and greet but we wont be getting in until late Thursday night. :(

yeah I am all over trying to get all the information I can get  lol  Just talked with Austin's recruiter and asked about his recruiters assistance --He told me that he can come home for that after his a school -- kinda excited except for the plane fare from florida to montana might be much by then--but they only get charged for 5 days gone
