Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My husband is officially a sailor!

He just called we got to talk for about an hour! Cant wait to see him! He said batte stations was easy!
Nik said the hardest thing about it was staying awake! He has been dying for a NOS Energy Drink for weeks and he got to get one right before he called! He said it was the best thing that he had ever drank in his life...lol!
I am so upset i missed my son's 5 attempts to call me!! He did leave me a short message but that just isn't good enough!!! He does leave Saturday Morning 5 a.m. and now I am in Chicago until Sunday afternoon just me and his girlfriend, I guess we can do some bonding and sightseeing! Still Upset hoping he tries to call tonight?????
Nicole, I'm so sorry. If it makes you feel any better Nik said "Wittwer rocked it too"! Did he talk to his girl friend? Nik said they will probably get to call again before graduation.
Awww Thanks!!! That helps! He did talk to her, I'm so glad he did it's her bday and that's all she wanted!!!!!!  I sure hope so! I keep listening to his message, lol..
Austin told me he is a grad and go as well--but he said we can keep him until 10pm friday and we can hang out with him at the airport  some sort of pass we can get--guess we will find out on friday--am so tired, can't imagine how tired they are..we are going to meet and the met and greet at the Ramoda right??
We will be at the Ramada for the meet and greet!! So excited I am unable to think straight!!! :)
Congrats to the newest Sailors. Thanks to all our sons, daughters, wives, husbands, and significant others. They did it!!! See you next Friday.

Hi I'm Nicole Thomas Bailey's mom.....
wasn't it so fabulous awesome terrific with yesterdays phone calls--what an amazing feeling of accomplishment they all must feel, my son was so tired but so stoked he was going to get a monster drink  first time they could get those I guess...He has a cold but the happiness to go from a recruit to a navy hat  was more than he ever expected --am so proud of ALL of the SAILORS and can't wait to meet ya all at the meet and greet
can you tell what that is?? Captains cup?
