We are staying at the Navy Lodge, will be arriving on Thursday but unfortunately we will have to leave back out on Sunday because I can't miss anymore work!  :(  I'm a tax accountant and I'm doing good to get Thursday, Friday, & Saturday off!  LOL
Haven't been on in a while, hope all are doing good. Sounds like it and that the letters seem to be coming which is good.  Was frustrated by last weeks brief phone call, was told had a lot of time and then an DI came in and started yelling which meant everyone had to get off the phones.  Hope this next one is a decent call and not some 2 min waste.  In other news, my brother got orders and he is excited about A school.  He is headed to TX, there was some confusion about where his A school would be and now we all know.  I would have to say that I'm pretty stoked since there are some awesome bars down there and well, he's over 21!  = )  That and of course the amusement parks too!  Good Times ahead!  Now if we could figure out where we are getting stationed next then life will be awesome!  Hope you all are hanging in there and keeping strong.

I got a letter from my recruit today! he said their division has managed to flag every test, exam and phase so far! hell week was rough. final test was yesterday and final drill inspection today. He said to expect a pile of flags and pendants when they come through the doors for PIR!  Their division has earned independent steaming!?? I guess it it gives them the rights to march where the like without a RDC present. HooYah!

wow, I like what I am hearing!
So proud of all of them!  Sounds like they are doing great and kicking butt!  :)  Can't wait for next week!!
Wow! Our kids did awesome!!!
yes they did! can't wait for next week!
Good luck to all our SR's tonight they're going to do awesome! Will have my phone ready for the "I'm a Sailor!" call. Can't wait!!!

Hey Girls, yup, They are getting ready, I think I'll be sleeping with my phone.  Actually, don't think I will be doing much sleeping tonight.  There better be a ton of comedy shows on.  We'll all be a little bit crazy tomorrow.  God, I can't wait to hear her voice!

Wishing the best to our recruits going through BS's right now!  Will have my blue light burning brightly and anxiously awaiting the phone call tomorrow:)  Good night everyone!
WOO HOO!  We have a SAILOR...just got the call from my sister!  She sounded really tired!  Said they did great, but was a LONG night!  :)  Just one more week ladies!!!!
YES!  We do too!  So awesome.  They did great they said they finished early.  Exhausted, got a little teary eyed when they played the National Anthem at the capping ceremony.  Said that was the best part.  We can all relax now and see them next week. phew, we made it.
