Hi,

I am trying to find a gift for my son who will be graduating from the Navy OCS the end of April. I am interested in getting a garment travel bag for his uniforms. Does anyone know of a particular one that is best? I have been reading about a special material called "Intercept" and can find a hat box with this lining but not a garment bag. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Mary

Hi Mary, I bought the Intercept garment bag for my son last August from Marlow White online. I don't see it listed anymore on the website. You could try emailing them. :)

A few nights ago I was on their website and I saw the garment bag and didn't order it, wanted to wait to see if my son would like it. When he called yesterday he told me that would be a great idea. Last night I went to their website too and didn't see it available. Thought maybe I had the wrong website. Good idea I will try calling them. Did your son like and use the bag?

Thanks!

Yes, he used it right away! It was just what he wanted and needed!

Thank you so much. That is the bag I am looking for, ordered it!! The other company Marlow White just emailed me back when I inquired about seeing it on their website a few days ago and now it wasn't there they told me they are out of stock with a wait of over 3 months.

Thanks everyone for your help!

Hi Mary!  My son graduated in early March 11-07 Golf Company.  He is a Civil Engineer, therefore we gave him an Officer's Sword.  My understanding from a retired Naval Captain is that the Civil Engineers are within the "warrior ranks" as they work with the Sea Bees.  He was shocked and thrilled although it will probably stay at our home for many years until he has a place to hang it on the wall!

We then had to go out and purchase a garment bag and hat case.  A much better choice in my opinion that can be used right away.

Best to you and yours.  After all of my LO's experiences prior to OCS , graduation made me the MOST proud!
