Thanks so much for the update- I did not get a letter today- so sad!!!  so your letting me know what is going on is even more appreciative - so thanks!
Thursday and no letter from my son today...so sad.  I really appreciate all the news others are sharing about the division.  Sounds like this was a tough one to be in.  I did not know everyone has been so sick in the division, maybe that is why I have not heard from my son J.  He is the medical yeoman for the division.  Maybe he is too busy?  He did mention there is a lot of paperwork to do and has to get up earlier and stay up later to fill out chits?
Hi- My son is going to Pensacola- he is CTT- I know they are on the home stretch and alot of big things to prepare for- so could be just not a lot of time. I can imagine being the medical yeoman would keep him busy if so many have been sick!!! Makes me wonder if my J got sick again ..hope they are all healthy for next week Battle ships- Praying every day!!!
Hopefully your letter will come tomorrow. Maybe it just got delayed. I do know there was a lot of sickness. My son ended up not only with the regular crud but also with a sinus infection on top of it. At least we can share info with each other on here so everyone knows what's happening.

It seems they have been on and off sick this whole time. I bet all the Divisions are...they are quartered so close to one another. My son went in just recovering from being sick- then he got sick again, now he is probably sick once more...WOW.

I agree- thank goodness we can share with eachother. It is going to be really fantastic meeting all of you Mom's ...At least some of you who are savvy enough to know how to put your pictures on line- I still can not figure out how to put a picture on this?

Hey- It worked- Finally got the picture to show up!!

hey DIV 149...

please discuss whether you want to wear a colored scarf for your DIV.... there

is a discussion group COLORED SCARVES FOR PIR...you might want to check that out

and see what's been taken.. I think we still have white, black, purple, light blue,  dark green or

some others.

With 9 TG's at about 80 sailors each, that's 720 people trying to find you after graduation

and the scarf can be tied on your purse/backpack if you don't want to wear it.

  Let me know!

  -Thanks,

    swim4life

My vote would be white- only because it goes with everything and I have a white one- what do you think Div 149???

white works for me
White would be great!   Does anyone know if our SR's will be wearing dress whites or blues?
i am not positive- but i know that they wear their dress blues between October through April- and change to whites in May...so since they are on the cusp of April / May- not too sure, but my guess would be blues. the other Utube videos of graduations in April show them in Blues.

Hi! I have never written anything on here before, but I want you to know that I have been praying for you and your SR's. I hope to get to meet you wonderful ladies at the meet and greet on the 28th. I rec'd a letter from my SR yesterday. He seemed to be very upbeat and positive. His only disappointment was due to them losing their phone privileges last Saturday. He said they have really been working as a team and everything is much better. He said that hell week wasnt as bad as he had anticipated.

Just 13 days left ladies, let's keep praying for our awesome SR's. Good Luck to all!

Also, a white scarf is good for me too!
