Oh my god on the way home from work I got a call from my son, I was so shook up I had to pullover. He said he was ok and doing good, he said their division got some sort of flag today I think he said scholastic flag) not sure though but he was real proud. He said they would not get to call again until he calls to say he is a sailor.
He said his division is having some problems meeting deadlines, and hopes that they graduate still on 6/3, hopefully they will get together as a team and do what needs to be done.
I talked with him for 13 minutes, and he hung up and had the opportunity to give his dad a quick call. He has made friends with some of the friends that I have here on Navyformoms.com so that is good they know we are communicating and keeping each other updated!
I was having a real downer day so this perked me right up, he said boot camp sucks but everything will be good when he is done. I told him I miss so much, and he said really ??? and I said yes I miss you to pieces!
Well thats all I have I hope some of you got calls today also!

Hopefully you will get your call today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember no call is a good call. He basically sounded good, a little emotional but not to bad.
He said his division keeps screwing up so they are really working hard at getting there act together and work as a team.
I hope today is your day!
Hello...I also have a son in this division. I worry about them every day.He says no one works together to get things done. I hope and pray that everything goes well and they are able to graduate on the 3rd of June. He also said that they have sent 2 guys back a week or so. So that is scarey. In every letter he tells me how bad it is there, I cant wait to get a good letter or call!! He tells me that he misses home sooo bad. This is the worst thing he has ever done. I keep telling him to keep his chin up and it will be over soon. The only bad thing is that he found out that he is going to be a grad and go, so we only get him for a few hours after graduation and then he will be off to his A school in Meridian Miss. He is a div leader right now, he says he has been for a while, I just pray that things come together for them all!!
I met with a friend of mine last night and her son PIR'd in April, I told her about my sons letters saying the division is having a hard time to, and she said they say that to every division to have them step up to the plate a little more, and she told me not to worry they will get together and grad will be 6/3.
My son is also a div leader, and the athletic leader, thankfully he is loving it, and hasn't said one thing like that, if he would have my heart would have broke.
I am sure your next letter will be better, they homesick, and they are more that halfway through they can do it!!!
