Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

Good Morning Gals!

Have any of you heard yet from your SR's as to when Battlestations will be? I know that some dates are coming through for May 17 th and 18th for TG 27. I read somewhere that the 927 and the 811 will be grouped with one of the other division. Things have been really hectic for them and I know that some whole divisions are sick or injured. Praying that our guys are all well before BS!

We haven't heard from B recently, but knowing the week by week schedule tells us what they are up to. They don't sound like they have much time to write. I did talk with his gf and she got a letter last Fri.and he said it has been very busy! Lets all pray that our SR's are healthy, well rested and ready to tackle these next few hectic weeks!!!

Huge hugs to all of you!!

Got a letter last night no mention of BS but it was mailed on the 26th so hopefully we will hear soon, will let everyone know if my SR tells me I did ask!
I got 2 more letters yesterday!  He sounds great but really busy too!  He did really great on his second PFA!!  I'm SO proud of him!  He said they had weapons training and the next day they could possibly earn ribbons or medals for their uniform.  They also earned another division flag.  They have 6 out of a possible 8 so far!  They will have more chances to earn more.  I did ask about Battlestations in a previous letter to him but he hasn't mentioned anything yet.  I will definitely let you ladies know once I hear something!  Hope you are having a wonderful and blessed day!!  It's not too much longer!! :)
I haven't received any letters yet this week but when I do I'll keep everyone informed. Also one of the pictures on the navy recruit fb page from today looks like my SR might be in it. Can you guys check it out and tell me if they see their SR or maybe its wishful thinking on my end but sure looks like him! It's the picture of them sitting down and it says something about seamanship and marlinspike! Thanks
Good morning all! Here it is may 4th!! 15 more days!!  I have been watching the Battlestations discussion looking for our 927's BS21 date but nothing as of yet! I find myself checking it a couple times a day!! LOL! I am getting so anxious I cant hardly stand it, My dear husband thinks I have completely lost it! I have Never been on the computer this much since we got our first computer years back!! You guys are my link to our son. He is one of those that never writes many details. His gf doesn't call to fill us in very often but enough to know he is doing okay! I had no idea that they had won 6 of the 8 possible flags!! Can anyone tell me more about them? How did they get them or what they are for? When your Kiddo is 30 years old they are adults and things aren't so important as when they were little ones! HoooYah! Guys for being a great division! I am hoping they are all still healthy and uninjured. It sounds like pink eye and the crud are running rampant!! Prayers go out to you and you SR's today!! Hugs to all of you!

Sorry ColoradoConnie, between school, the little one, and working 11 hours a day, I barely have time to do anything. I haven't heard from him yet this week, but I will try to do better at finding time to provide you with updates when I hear from him. On the other hand, you seem to know more of what is going on most of the time than I do, thanks to all of the awesome mothers and girlfriends who keep in touch. Thanks everyone, it is great that we are all able to be here and support each other! I booked my flight last night and can't wait to see him and meet all of the men he has gotten to know over the past several weeks.

Oh dear, Don't ever apologize for having a life!! We do have a great little group here don't we!? As far as knowing what is going on I am as much in the dark as everybody else around here! I just have more spare time to visit other groups on the site and to pass on the info that I get from them and the few letters we get from our son. His gf does update us on some things also! I do know that things are really hectic for them now as they are closing in on PIR!! Where will you be staying when you get to Il? Will you be able to be at the Meet and Greet? I am almost as excited to meet all of you ladies as I am to see our son! Great big HUGS to you and your little one!!

Ladies - I am 99% sure that there is a picture of 02-927 PIR 5/20 on the NavyDads.com website.  We are posative that we see our son.  http://www.navydads.com/group/bootcamp Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  It is the picture of our Recruits at Marlinspike.  Hope you see your son!!!

CynRipp if you're talking about the picture of the guys sitting on the bleachers then it looks like my SR is in that one. I saw the picture on the Facebook rtc site and posted something above! So yes! I see my SR
I will save it and ask my SR! I think that's div 927!
Hi there everybody, I was excited to see if I could pick out our SR in the photo you are talking about! But with my "old" eyes even with my trifocals and a magnifying glass I can see the faces very clearly. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR! I s there a way to  blow up the picture? I feel so dumb when it comes to this computer stuff! I would love to catch a glimpse of him. Has everyone found their SR in it? Knowing my luck our "B" is the one standing up that got his head cut off! LOL! Hoping that you all have a great weekend! We are finally starting to have some warm days here. It goes from frost warning at night of 14 25 degrees to almost 90 today! This has sure been the weirdest spring we had as far back as I can remember! Happy Mother's day to all of us Mom's!
I'm so excited, I know this is my fist post but I just got my parking pass!!! I'm so excited that it's that much closer to when I'll see my husband. He's in this division btw, just thought I might let you know.
