I'm new to Navy for Moms and I'd love to talk with other Moms that have sons/daughters in this Division.  I'd really love to find out news you are hearing.  I'm getting letters, but not a lot of information.  I'm so looking forward to seeing our kids on 5/20.  Please tell me what you know.

Malachai's mom, I just wrote  "bemllo"  please read it above>> about this subject, hope it would help ....   even if they have to fly out the next Sat. Morning, they usually will get to be with their family after PIR is over until around 7 or 8pm ...they have to be back to the base by a certain time that Friday night and can't be late! is what other Navy Moms have posted.  Nothing is ever in concrete and is subject to change .....it pays to just be prepared & flexible, Blessings
Hi Nancy, I want to make sure you and your family going to PIR have ribbons to wear to show your pride for your son and also to honor your husband. I am sure he is looking down from heaven and very proud of your son. No worries please, these are a gift from me. I just need to know how to get them to you :-) I sent you a friend request. I will add a cross to each one in honor of you husband. I hope your kids at home make this a very special day for you and I hope your son gets to call you today. Happy Mother's Day and God Bless you and your family. Sincerely, Lora (aka, Lala the PIR Ribbon Queen)
My son is in Ship 07 Div 177, I have gotten letter almost every week and he has been very sick he needed two bags of IV, the last letter we got yesterday was to his sister and he did not mention about being sick but he did say he it was not getting easier or harder and in we will see him in a couple or weeks.hope to meet with you all at PIR MAY 20th.
So sorry your son has been sick.  The day we got our phone call, my son had a terrible cold.  He said his throat was very sore.  I did hear on here that pink eye goes around there.  Yuk!  Hopefully, they are getting well and it is warming up there.  Patiently waiting on May 20, just a few more days now!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE NAVY MOMS !!
I got a letter from my son dated 5/2.  He says they took their Div photos and got their National Defense Medals.  He's so proud.  He loves the food and is putting on much needed weight.  He was quite the skinny kid.
