Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

Welcome to our little group bjosewski! I just printed my gate pass(es) this morning as well! I printed one up for his girlfriend too! Please introduce yourself and tell us a little about your SR. We are small but we have gotten to be good pals here! The ladies are all very sweet. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Connie

I hope all you Moms had a wonderful and very blessed Mother's Day!!  I'm SO ecstatic to see my boyfriend next week!!  Yay!!  I received another letter from him this past Thursday!  I just light up everytime I see one in my mailbox!!  I did not see him in that picture some of you were talking about though.  There was one guy that kind of looked like him but it's probably just wishful thinking.  I sent it to his mom and she didn't see him either.  ColoradoConnie, if you save the picture on your computer and then open it, usually the program you have for viewing the picture will have a zoom feature where you can increase the size.  That's what I did!  Hope you ladies have a wonderful day!!  I hope we hear from our guys soon!!!  Be sure to ask your SRs when they will have Battle Stations!!  I cannot wait to hear from his mom about the "I'm a Sailor!" call!!  Thank y'all for the amazing support!!

Welcome to all the ladies who joined our amazing group!!  Hopefully we can all get together at the Meet & Greet next Thursday!!

Well, my SR is going into the AE field, and is doing the STA-21 program after he gets out of Basic. He's my husband and we have a beautiful baby girl together, we've been together for the happiest two years of my life and I'm really excited to start this adventure with him. I'm moving to Florida with my SR after he graduates from Basic. He'll be going to A school there for a while. I received a phone call where we got to talk for about 10 minutes, the day that they got "beat" for a drawing and stealing, and he said that he didn't want me to live here but that he wanted me to come with him to Florida. He said he couldn't go another 6 months without seeing me everyday. So that's a little about me.

Welcome Bjosweski!

My SR said that he met some shipmates who were married with kids. So maybe your SR is one of them. =)

Anyways welcome to our little group, everyone here is very supportive and nice! I can't wait for PIR also. We're almost there, I can't believe it. Hoping for a call or letter today. Have a great and blessed day everyone. Hopefully the weather is nice for us on PIR weekend.

Hmmm...Maybe? It would be interesting to find out. Thank you, I'm really glad I found this group it's made me fill in the holes of my husbands letters. Lol. He doesn't talk much about himself or how he's doing other than the fact he got pneumonia. I hope for all of the same thing!!! I was actually in Chicago on Thursday and it was pouring rain and cold. I felt really bad for whoever had to do night watch. Lol.
Oh yea! My bf in his last letter said he had the flu! Must be bad there because my SR never gets sick. Said that's the sickest he's ever felt. Awww our poor boys. hopefully he's better now. I'm jus waiting for his letter to hear how he's doing.

I didn't know that they had the 'crud" going through the division! Yuck! I just hope that everybody's "guys" are all over it!

bj-  We are glad you found us too! Hope that your husband is over his bad spell and feeling better!

I just got a letter today and apparently he got FFD on the 3rd and can now write three times a week, Tuesday & Thursday before TAPS, and then Sunday. Also, apparently he say's they're doing the "confidence chamber" this week along with "the final test" (not sure if that's battle stations or what) and PFA this week, and said that I should be receiving a phone call this week. So hopefully I get it and I hope you ladys get one too. Just stick by your phones this week. Lol.

Also, as another thought, apparently K says that he has only received one letter from me this whole time, even though I've sent him almost one every other day. He says that it's getting really lonely and I feel terrible about it. So I sent 3 today just to make myself feel better. :'-( I hope that it's not because I put too many pictures in with my envelopes...I know I put enough postage on them so that can't be it. Maybe because of Bin Laden they're being super cautious of big envelopes? Any thoughts on the matter? And they were in standard mailing letters too.

Heard from B's gf last night and he has been really sick as well...Pink eye, Sinus infection and Pneumonia! He is trying to stay caught up and is still set to PIR on the 20th but says he has never felt so lousy!! I hope that the whole Div doesnt keep passing it around!

bjosewski.. I am going to start calling you BJ! That is what we used to call our son when he was little!! What is FFD if you dont mind? I dont know that one. The final test IS Battlestations. They must be going on gthe 12th. I think that is the first date scheduled for our TG 27. Wish we could know for sure.

We need to light our blue candles!! I am going to the BS group and see if they have it listed and will let you all know!

In my boyfriend's last letter to me, he mentioned he was sick with the flu.  They just all need to stop sharing!  Oh my!  I can't imagine what they must all be feeling and just trying to get through these last couple of days!!  My prayers are with all of them!!  Hopefully we will get a definitive date on when they will have Battle Stations!!  We get to see our SRs next week, ladies!!  Oh, I'm so ecstatic and so proud of him!!

bjosewski - I'm sorry your SR hasn't received your letters!  I'm not sure what is going on!  I think it took a little bit for my boyfriend's letters to catch up with him, especially the first ones I sent.  He referenced a few things in more recent letters that I mentioned in the letters I sent him toward the beginning.  I'm sure he will enjoy the letters you just sent.  I'll definitely pray that he receives them promptly!  I'm positive he knows you love him and are thinking of him :)

I agree they don't need to share anymore they just need to become a healthy team!!  10 days left! I just pray that they all make it through!! Lets keep positive thoughts for all of our SR's!!
Haha it doesn't say that in his letter he knows I love him. He's thinking that I just don't care about him...
